Eris was hoping to pick up another player. I hate to see his games limp along, especially since I've been gaming with him for 20 years. I hang in there, though. If he posts, I respond.

On another note, do you know a player/GM called Tiglath? He's English, and he's a really active player and GM in Traveller.

http://www.unseenservant.us/forum/viewforum.php?f=849 - District 268 by Tiglath. This one is very active. My character is Prerna Nayar, a scout/sniper for the newly formed "Slightly Unethical Mercenary Company".

Both of these games feature people who are much better writers than me, and I think you'd enjoy them.

Seriously, I think he would take another player - this is a mercenary company, so you'd probably want to play a combat type. Other than my character's scout/sniper, we don't have any real specialists beyond infantry leaders. Maybe you could consider something like a combat pilot, heavy weapons specialist, or a C3I specialist.

I've greatly expanded my library of fabrics, so I can customize the outfits to suit ourselves. I'm pleased with these items, and I'm always on the lookout for better stuff ;-)

I would do more, but it takes so much time to build everything in a scene. I'm learning more shortcuts and tricks, a couple of which I'm working with right now ;-)

I'm thinking we want to go ahead and intercept the caravan heading south with the weapons.  Or did we want to further trail them to their source?  If we go into enemy territory we may provoke a shooting war.

That was my thinking, as well. However, the objective is to stop this shipment, as it can seriously affect the war's outcome.

Of course, it's up to Robert how he wants to interpret his orders.

Yes, it is. Robert recognizes the leader, and several of the pack animals from their uniquely decorated harnesses.

I was thinking we would take the three Martians prisoner.  The leader is a war leader and probably good to keep out of circulation for a bit.  Not sure about the legalities...

Robert will have to consider the ramifications of such an action, especially during a war. The first question is, who will he turn the prisoners over to, and on what grounds?

My concern was more that we aren't at war yet.

The offense would be smuggling the weapons.  I'd think that would be fairly clear.  Of course his actions might just kick the war off!!!!
