House Rules

The move slots limit for pokemon is 7 level up moves slots and 7 slots for HM/TM/Move Tutor and Egg moves

I'm considering using color coded terms.
Orange - OOC, the language of the meta. Never used in-universe.

For players, you may use whatever color you wish for your text as long as it is not Orange, and as long as you are consistent enough for me to follow who is talking. Same for the Pokemon with your trainer or Pokemon. Or for the trainer with the Pokemon, in some cases...heh heh heh.

For example, Purple - that's my color when I somehow show up in game. Apparently, Rex didn't get that memo. But honestly, if you have ME showing up in front of your character, you have either done something very foolish, or you need something that no one else can get you. Either way, you are probably in trouble.

That or its that hack Rex.
Look at the top of the post to tell the difference.

Languages are covered under General Education (GE). Each dice you throw in GE is one language you can speak and read fluently, so for most of you, that's two languages. For dummies like Rex who can only read one third of the time and can't do it automatically, that's one.

If you choose the same language twice in a row, that means you can switch between regional accents within that kingdom without a Guile roll. Otherwise, you talk like the foreigner or the social class you are. Albionese is considered the default language of the Seven, the "English" is you will of the setting, as is the language of the land you are from.

You may annoy me and choose to not understand the universal language of the United Kingdoms, choosing to focus on the native language of your land like many of the residents of Albion have a nasty habit of doing, because they think the world revolves around them.

Mons have their own rules. Most of the time, they can understand each other without a hitch. If trained to speak, they speak the kingdom's language. If they learned a language on their own, they learn the language that helps them the most.

I'll be modifying the custom feat that allows Mons to speak accordingly and shortly.

House Rules

Yveltal's post from Homebrew has been moved here for purposes of consolidation. I also changed the skill.

*New Poke edge*
Human Language training
Cost: 1 Tutor point
Effect: Like Meowth from your absurd invention "the telly," your 'Mon has trained to speak, and read with some difficulty. Your Pokemon has 1d6 (or Pathetic rank) in untrained skills just like a Trainer who trashed every skill, meaning it may now speak one language with a noticeable accent, attempt to Persuade, Command...and lie to you. Enjoy your disloyal Pokemon, would-be Ghetsis clones.

House Rules

So, limited to three, with storage at a Church (Albion, Magnas, or other, depending on region) possible. Makes wishlists smaller, makes work easier.

Bear in mind, some of the bad guys (and good guys) will not roll this way. Even they will be limited to six tops, though. I'm not a monst-

I have standards.

Dueling rules might relax these standards. Remember, a Duelmaster has a lot of authority to make the battle against them as easy or difficult as they wish, and Shade Callers in particular are dangerous to duel, as one of the gifts of their particular Badge is the ability to suppress their Mons' strength (level) as low as the Duelmaster wishes, in accordance with any rules of fair play they feel like playing by.
