In reply to Papa (msg # 967):

Kobold 3 and 5 have been slain.
Kobold 4 attempts to hit Graz but is not successful in connecting with it's spear.
Graz's turn now and you can go 2x since I screwed up.

3 possible targets for attack:
K1 in C3 (threatens both Graz and Rufus)
K2 in C4
K4 in A4

Day 9 - late night
In reply to Rufus (msg # 970):

I think it should be something like this
5 Kob rufus tied
Graz kills K3 :4 Kob
4 Kob attack
Rufus tries to escape
Graz frees Rufus
2 Kob attack 2 Kob move.
Rufus kills K5 :3 kob remaining
Graz kills K1 first roll, 2: Kob
3 Kob attack should be 2 because K1 is dead and dmg from K1 removed from Rufus.
Rufus turn
Graz my second roll
remaining kobs turn.

Rufus, you have to roll for a ranged touch attack to see if you hit the kobold with the flame. Also u take a -4 on that roll as that kobold is in melee with Graz and it requires extra care than a regular shot.

Roll a 20 side as you do for any attack.

You have a minus 4 as its in melee with Graz.

Kobolds touch AC = 12.

Roll em up.

Day 9 - late night
In reply to Rufus (msg # 979):

Rufus heals self for 6 HP bringing himself back up to 8 HP.

Graz had killed the other Kobold.

Kobold in A4 attempts to flee, Withdrawing from its engagement with Graz, and runs fleeing to the west through the bushes. All other kobolds have been bested and lay defeated on the forest floor in various states of dismemberment.

Thaco and Tomas remain unconscious at the campsite.

Rufus and Graz must decide what to do next.

In reply to Rufus (msg # 981):

Attack of opportunity only if the character withdrawing moves from his starting spot into another threatened square.
That's not happening in this case. It moves from A4 into the bushes to the west and flees.

Thanks for the clarification. Can we assume that Tomas is at zero hit points? i.e., disabled/unconscious and not dying.

Hard to tell his status from a distance as he is partially wrapped up in a bedroll with his hands tied behind his back. it would require you taking the time to physically go and check him out.

Day 9 - late night
In reply to Rufus (msg # 985):

Rufus addresses Tomas and untangles him from his bloodied bedroll and unties his hands from behind his back, in a similar predicament to how Rufus had found himself not too long ago. As he examines Tomas for any visible signs of damage, he can see that the wound in his forehead has clotted over but that there is a bump on the top of Tomas' head the size of a hard boiled egg. The kobolds appear to have knocked him unconscious and intentionally not tried to harm him too much. Rufus is able to surmise that perhaps they were looking to take them prisoner, not simply kill the group. Tomas will most likely be awakened in due time or perhaps with a splash of cold water to the face.

Their companion Thaco appears to still be incapacitated on the ground as well.

Pour water from my water skin on Tomas face to see if I can wake him. After that, go check on Thaco and do the same thing.only use half of water I have in my skin.

Day 9 - late night
In reply to Rufus (msg # 987):

Rufus bends on to one knee and carefully holds Tomas' head from behind the neck and  splashes a quarter or his canteen upon Tomas' face in efforts of reviving him. His efforts are successful so carefully props Thaco and takes the same steps in efforts to revive them both.
