I will be moving all the PCs that are no-longer logging in and posting to GM control.
And I will update the Game to reflect these changes by Monday.

Hello everyone

So I have basically decided to make a homebrew 'Oriental Adventure' style game.

The concept is combining Warlords with Boshido, L5R, and Classic D&D Oriental Adventures into one game that's designed for heavy role-playing online (Play by Post format)

For now we will only be using the Warlords: One-on-One rules, but the goal is once this opening adventure is done we can end there or keep playing. If we can keep playing I will introduce these rules as we move from a war game to an adventure game.

I know Bushido and D&D Oriental Adventures but not Warlords. However, if you tell me what my options are, I will do whatever is needed.

I may be mistaken, but I believe Warlords is the base system we're using in this game, Hiro. L5R always looked fairly interesting to me, though I think its high-fantasy approach will benefit from a little tempering by being blended with Bushido and D&D OA.

In any case it sounds like a fun idea to me. It always seems like a good thing to do in PvP games to allow the game to continue once one of the players has won. The possibilities are many...

Just an FYI
NYC is opening up and we are in Phase 1 and going to Phase 2
So I'm getting busy again, getting my team back into the grove so this week was a little slow in my posting.

Anyway I'm here and will keep things going :)

I hope your reopening goes well and you and your team stay safe. WV where I am is moving between Phase 2 and Phase 3. My university office opened back up this week, so I have resumed revising a scholarly article for publication.

Good luck to you both as things inch gradually back towards something approaching normalcy.

Non-aligned players will have their separate threads and they will be able in some cases to see the last group thread they were part of. This will make things interesting as they could have information to share.

Hope everyone is doing well, ......

So far no takers on playing the lord. So when we each day 3 I will have to NPC that part of the game. I will mark down some ideas and roll a d6 and you will be able to contest my rolls.
This will be the fairest way to handle the Lord until someone steps to the plate.

Sounds reasonable, since you already have a fair idea (I'm sure) of what I intend.  The tricky part will be running it like that without giving me a tell as to what Lord Kenshin will be doing on day 3!

Well the game is designed to have some questions as to location and troop numbers etc etc. but there is a spy system in place so it is not a complete free for all.

Good timing. Let's hope we get some folk looking in over the weekend.

I have closed out 2 Day for the Lord. This was done based on the the ideas and want the last player was working towards. I placed all the notes so the next player will understand the order of events should we find someone interested in playing the Lord.

I will recap next for both sides and issue spy reports.

I will get this done today so you can see where you are at.

I think all the updates are done, please read and check I will bump some threads.

If Kenshin is sending out tax collectors, who are likely to be unpopular, once Sato's party learns of them they might use this to rally the villagers against Kenshin.

One last thing, ....

As you know I'm working on developing the game from a war/strategy game to an adventure game when one side wins.

And I started to think what if I was new and saw all that stuff, .... it would be to much to deal with. So I changed the grouping and I will work on that independently. Once we move into the adventure part then I will update the groups.
