No worries, Old Fossil, I haven't been able to be on as much lately anyway since work has had us all doing 'mandatory overtime' and working our days off throughout July and August :( (Glad that's almost over).

I'll look forward to your post whenever you can find the time.  The older I get, the more I realize what a precious commodity time really is.

Oh Bee, Celes meant that she wants Blissex to (from memory, since we won't be able to see in the smoke) guide the whole group to a safe room where we can wait out the troopers looking for us. Not so much a "you two get to safety" maneuver but a "nope, all of us are holing up together" deal.

Okay Celes, no problem, I can amend my post pretty easily if you like.  I know we have very little time to do this, and it's only a temporary reprieve, but it may give us a chance to engineer some sort of counter attack

Sorry I took so long (even for this game) with the reply, folks.   I will give a few days for Celes to reply and then post for the Imperials... :-)

Ye, I'm technically alive, just been busy with RL stuff and trying to get a handle on some relationshippy things. I might need to be in the background a bit, but Celes's motivation right now is to keep everyone hidden and safe, going more into stealth mode than murder mode now that she's injured and the crewmate she considers her frail daughter is planning to take point. She wants to get the others to a room where they can lay low until the troopers pass.

Is that a doable thing?

Well the problem is, I believe, that Wallex said there is one, but its PAST where the troopers currently are.  Correct me if I have that wrong please Old Fossil please.

My apologies for being unclear.

There is a bulkhead (more of a small alcove actually) that Celes can take cover behind for this round.  The stormtroopers will not advance enough with their usual slow walk to be able to have any kind of shot to those taking shelter there this round.  That is, if the characters take total shelter there this round (by that, I mean no line-of-sight so no blaster fire or even observation).  Otherwise, the PCs can use the bulkhead for cover but the darkness still helps the troopers.

I wanted to give y'all a chance to take cover this round.  The darkness mods are brutal and I wanted the truly disadvantaged to have protection while the better advantaged (no doubt) take out at least some of the troopers.

Unfortunately, Thuraya pooched her roll so there is a little more challenge.

I hope to post the Imperial side of the carnage tomorrow.  Celes can post as convenient. :-)

Droids do get Force points.  They may not be Jedi but the Force can still use them for good.

As far as I know, no one has spent their Force Points yet.  And this would be a thematically appropriate moment.   You would get them back and one more.

Did I not give you your Force Point back, Celes?   If not, consider it returned.  Or (my memory fails) are Force Points returned only at the end of the adventure.

You can only use a force point on one action, right?

Force Points are given back at the end of adventures, along with any extras for Heroic Moments. I think I've spent two so far, but I can't recall. Dunno if I spent any on this adventure, but definitely did for our first.

And Shira, a Force Point doubles all your die codes for at least your whole turn. I can't remember if it lasts until your turn comes back around again (granting bonuses to Reactions as well), but it definitely lets you do a bunch of stuff all at once. That's how I used mine to shoot like four guys in the aforementioned scene.

Also, I'm still not feeling up to posting, really, but I am definitely paying attention and alive. Just not feeling okay.
