Its okay Old Fossil old friend.  I think we all know how life can get overwhelming at times, very suddenly and unexpectedly.  We've been hanging around for awhile now and I think its safe to say none of us are going away any time soon :)

TwoOneBee, I feel ya, my friend.  I too know what it is like cruising through the mid-Fifties.  It is not that I will soon qualify for the senior special at Denny's that makes me old, it is the fact that I am looking forward to it. :-)

Celes, I envy anyone with musical talent.

As I am not sure that everyone has seen Rise of Skywalker yet, I won't spoiler anything.   I will say that IMO, Mandalorian aside, Star Wars could use a long rest and recharge its lightsabers for a bit.

It has been that long since we started gaming.  Wow, you guys were to be the backup game.  A test of RPoL as it were as compared to the fancy board I normally spend my time at.  But you were the ones that have lasted.  I'm lucky to have y'all. :-)

But then as Yoda might say, Star Wars fans have learned to need patience. ;-)

In fact, I'm sorry to say I have completely lost track of who has spent what Character Points.  But it also occurs to me that I don't think I have given you any real experience in that time.   So I certainly think you are due a net gain, a substantial net gain.

Provisionally, I am considering granting you a renewal of the usual five Character Points just to get you through this encounter.  And that is likely just the beginning of what I owe y'all.

I have some free time on Tuesday (well, it is likely) and you are now a priority.   I will finally post IC then but I wanted to give y'all a few days to mull over the experience suggestions above.   No biggie if you don't get to it.   If I don't hear otherwise, consider yourself to have five new character points as you reply to my IC post....

I knew RPoL would come out on top! :D We've got a ton of patience over here, as you can see. n.n

And I am by no means musically talented, I'm just very determined to get these two instruments sounding nice at my hands. I never really enjoyed playing the woodwind instruments, as I couldn't practice them quietly anywhere and was always anxious about being heard practicing. It's a shame too, as I've got this beautiful ceramic Ocarina of Time sitting next to me that I'm too afraid to learn to play because of the noise. But yeah, hopefully I can get good enough to record something to share!

I'm really excited about Character Points. Looking forward to getting to beef up my skills again. :D

And as for this particular scene, I think it best if I stay in the background and let the techier heroes handle it. I'm good for when people need shooting or intimidating. :P

An ocarina is a wind instrument rather like a flute or recorder, often made of clay. They can be round or oblong ("potato") -shaped, and are found in several Legend of Zelda games. The two that feature it most prominently are Ocarina of Time (Zelda 5) and its immediate sequel, Majora's Mask (Zelda 6), which both revolve around music as the primary way to interact with anything that doesn't need a good stabbin'.

So far Celes has been rooting for Thuraya's bloodthirst, since it matches her own and she has no idea how the Force works. Now Celes is thinking maybe this kid is a getting a little too murder happy to hang around with Shira.

Do y'all like Thuraya with a little dark side?  It could go either way. ;-)

I do, I think the struggle to stay on the path of the Light side is particularly difficult for a padawan.

Oh as a player I'm pretty into it. Celes has no idea what that sentence even means, but she's into killing when it's practical and is kind of not into killing when it's for funsies. Thuraya's been edging towards sadistic enough to get Celes's attention.

Crazy days, folks, stay safe...

Agreed.  My wife and I are doing our best.  She's retired now, so staying at home is not the issue.  I still am working, but the bank where I work has gone overboard with their safety precautions, so I'm not too concerned there.  The hardest thing about all of this is not going stir crazy staying in.  I am an introvert, but even I get bored staring at the same four walls after awhile.

Glad we have this game where we can at least do something interesting and connect with people, have some fun and forget for a little while.  Cyber hugs everyone, hope you, and your loved ones are happy and healthy.
