A question! Can all the characters see through the Veil?

Fey characters can do so naturally.  For them, it's like looking at an "ambiguous image". Like the famous Duck Bunny.   You can force yourself to look at it one way, or the other.

For Human characters, we shall assume they all have some talisman, artifact, charm or other power, maybe just an inherent "Gift" that allows them to see things as they really are.

It wouldn't help for characters committed to work with the Faerie world to be unable to see it.

I feel like Jake is able to tell when things are being...covered up, but he can't quite see what is being covered up.

Do we have an idea on the weather? Going out and about close to Christmas in New York I'd imagine it's cold to be sure, but is there snow? what are we dealing with outside?

I have to say that as a professional language nerd and someone who practically lives on the doormat of a Scandinavian country, this is the hardest time I've ever had keeping IC and OC separated :P

I had the same feeling in a Mythic Norse changeling game run by a Swede I was in. He seemed to take it in stride though :)

I am going to assume that Jake manages to contact the library before Julian and Evaline leave, because it is a major plot point.
