Mephistopheles is an excellent name for a cat.

I thought I'd tell you all what Bones is known for.

Firstly, Bones likes to talk to bugs, cut deals with them, etc. He is a Bugfriend. Bones also likes to squeeze in and around difficult spaces.

Bones might be a coward, since he doesn't like to get into fights unless it's necessary (of course, upon winning a necessary fight, Bones will play with his quarry for some time before the kill, as is right for a cat to do).

Finally, Bones Fleabag might have known a witch or two in his day, and might understand something about poisoning.

Oh, it's just you. Greetings. My humans call me Milk-Whiskers because they don't know any better, but you may refer to me by my proper name, Sir Percy Higgleton III. I keep careful watch over the house from my perch up here on the window sill. Oh, all right, I may occasionally rest my eyes for a moment, but I can hardly be blamed for that - one must have one's beauty sleep in order to stay this pretty, after all.

You, of course, know me as Shadowfoot.

Ahhh, yes, to my fellow cats I am Rumbler. Known for a good fight as much as my loud purr. I am particularly well known for catching birds. So much so that the birds have figured out the food my humans put out is a trap. The birds never come around any more but the humans are obedient enough to keep offering it. My boy is the best boy and gives the best hugs! I go to work in the neighborhood the same time as the boy’s father.

Perhaps we might say that Bones offered to broker a deal with some bugs to get rid of the birds that had been eating them?

You would then know that, to friends, this cat's name is called Fleabag.

To my favourite fellow cats I am known as Midnight. Sometimes I am Mister Midnight, sometimes Captain Midnight but some cruel cats call me eunuch. Foxes don't call me... They run away.

I am known for jumping, climbing and sleeping on the roof.  Oh yes and as trickster.

Happy to help with any pesky birds, Fleabag. Birds are annoying and tasty.

I suppose we all have our peculiarities. What good cat doesn't have the odd eccentricity?

Will cat videos be allowed as evidence for supporting claims that our reputations apply to situations?

Hmm, I think cat names in bios is a solid idea.

Looks around curiously. So, any information on the neighborhood we find ourselves living in? Access to edit character sheets? Being a cat is amazing and all, but what's the game?

I too am known for my loud purring, however I try to avoid fights that aren't necessary, but I am very keen on finding boggins as well as being super observant.  If it's going on in the neighbourhood, I probably know about it!

Okay, I finally realised that the way I was handling the group splitting up was causing problems, so I dropped that idea.

I've created two separate threads, each in its own Group, which is not the way I would have preferred to do it, but my experimental approach was causing confusion for a few people.

Re: Laying on the Hearth Rug - OOC

Okay... slight disaster.  Been off work sick all week... got tested, and it turns out I've got me a slight case of the covids.  Doesn't seem like more than a particularly heavy cold for the moment, but I'm following the doctor's advice - staying home, resting, and drinking plenty of tea.  Probably too much tea.

Also fielding questions from the boss at work, who keeps ringing up to check that I'm taking it easy.  I'm one of three people at work who caught it, all at the same time.  So I'm glad I'm off - sounds all-together too stressful at work just now, with three out of the four most experienced staff off sick, leaving just one in work, with three part-time teenage temps.

Posting... may be a tad sporadic for a little while, but doing what I can.  Take care, my friends.

In reply to Milk-Whiskers (msg # 51):

I'd say so.  Just work it as a regular Dream Bite and specify that you're doing the reversed version.

One caveat.  It's harder to move around outside the Dream.  Joey, for example, has said that he lives in The City, which is a few miles away from the town where the cats live.  In the Dram, the cats could fly that distance easily.  In the waking world, it would be a long walk on short legs.

And The City is big.  Why, it even has a hospital, with a helicopter (whatever that is).
