The Flight Deck
Hearing the demand for surrender, with the aggressive negotiating afterwards, Andrew grabs the pistol as his feet and moves to get a clearer view of the attackers in the airlocks. Keeping as much as he can out of the way, or behind something, Andrew moves with purposing knowing his own skill with a blaster was minimal. Moving forward to best help support Matthew as the situation turns south. In an effort to keep the attackers aim off, and possibly letting Matthew get a better position, Andrew squeezes off a few rounds in the airlocks general direction.

I'm going to take a pot shot if able, if not, I merely want to give some sort of suppression fire to help Matthew.
Laser shots tn 50.

Seeing that her shipmates are under attack and possibly outnumbered, Julia talks to the computer about the stasis room.

Andrew's shots hit Pirate #5, and sends him flying back into the corridor. The pirate does not get back up.

As the exchange of gunfire continued, Matt foumd himself with a different sort of problem. His visor was partially covered by industrial lubricant that one of his own errant blasts had released from a pipe. Quickly wiping at it with a glove just smeared it worse. Still, he aimed his laser at the man who had fired on him. As he fired, the laser shot from his slickened hands, and clattered to the deck.

Ducking back down, he cursed as he raised his visor, looking around desperately for his weapon, spotting it lying a few feet away.

18:28, Today: Matthew Winslow rolled 1 using 1d3.  duration of vision penalty.
18:36, Today: Matthew Winslow rolled 1 using 1d6-1.  distance of drop from fumble.

18:23, Today: Matthew Winslow rolled 65,7,16 using d100,d8,d20.  Taken as fumble roll.
18:22, Today: Matthew Winslow rolled 96,5,19 using d100,d8,d20.  1st laser shot at Pirate #1.

Pirate #1 drops onto the floor, writhing in agony, and crawls back further into the corridor.

Pirate #4 seeing his shipmates falling easily to the superior firepower from the Flare Team, decides its time to save their skins, " Don't shoot! We surrender! " , he shouts, and throws his pistol out onto the flight deck.

"Matt, cover them," Chad says to his companions on the flight deck as he still has a bead on the pirates with his pistol, "Drew, get their weapons."

Calling over the comm to the Calor, "Jack, get down here with some zip-ties.  Let's secure these prisoners."

While talking Chad never takes his eyes off the pirates and is ready to fire if any of them make a suspicious action.

" I've got the stasis room ready to put them on ice. Or do you wanna interrogate them first?", asked Julia over the comms.

Responding to Julia, Chad says, "we'll put them on ice first and search for any survivors and injured.  We'll interrogate them once we've a sweep of the station."

Andrew slings off his pack after holstering his pistol as the others are covering the bandits and begins to dig through it. After a few choice words and rustling most of his pack he pulls out a small silver roll.
"Why use Zips when you got the handyman's best friend." He smirks as he pulls a strip of the duct tape free of the roll with a nice Zzip sound. He heads over to Chad to help with securing the prisoners.

Matt, rather red faced with embarassment, picked up his laser, wiped it clean and checked it, slapping in a fresh charge pack, before leveling it at the remaining pirates, watching them as directed.

Once the prisoners are secured with the best invention know to man and properly put on ice, he says to the team, "alright, let's search the station and see if we can find any station personnel, or more pirates.  I think we may have caught these stragglers before they could leave the station, but let's be careful and sure."

He pointedly looks at his armor and the bullet indentations and says, "we don't any of us getting perforated but a lucky shot from a dirty pirate."

Jack joins the group with the zip ties, rifle over his shoulder, and "cuffs" the pirates Andrew hasn't enveloped in duct tape.

He cocks his head at Chad, "you want to stick together, or look around in teams of two?"

Andrew nods his heads towards Jack. "Welcome down sleepyhead!" and breaks into a huge smile. "Naw, don't worry, just razzin ya. Like a good doc, I'd rather the pilot not get shot up." After all the loose ends are tied up. Andrew scans the area and nods his head once again towards Jack. "Yeah, priority crew, or priority locking this place down and checking for damage?"

Julia stops by the door, and stoops down to inspect the floor. She dabs her finger into the fluid, which is just oozing out of the door, and inspects the fluid. "Its blood guys!", she said with a look of horror, and steps away from the door.
