'Very puzzling,' he thinks,'that there is nothing out of the ordinary. That most likely puts it into the genetic modification category, within the margin of error. Could somebody have designed him?'

Meanwhile, Dr. Tate goes and files his reports to the precinct. He hopes that he will get time in the future to do some genetics testing, but that could take years to isolate, especially if no siblings or parents ever show up. He heads home after a busy day at work.

'Its good to be home after a long day at work.'

Nathaniel takes off his tie and shoes and heads into the kitchen. Once there he puts some rice in the cooker and dumps a handful of sliced veggies into the steamer part. From back to the fridge he gets out a breast of chicken and dumps it onto the George Foreman grill, which he plugs in. After washing his hands vigorously he is back to the fridge to get Mike's Hard Lemonade.

Struggling with the top Nate walks over to the window of his apartment and looks out over the city.

The normal morning routine of breakfast, shower, shaving, brush teeth, get dressed and check his tie in the mirror proceeds. Should nothing hinder him he is back as work starting up the next 'cold case' that is in the morgue.

After getting prepped with the appropriate safety gear and turns on the microphone he starts with obvious signs, such as puncture wounds strangulation, etc. Should nothing prove obvious he will continue in for blood samples, under the finger nail scrapings, and other more detailed prodding and poking.

OOC: Unless there is an over 50% penalty that should be a pass.

In reply to Dr. Light (msg # 57):

Dr. Tate finds no external signs of trauma or damage on the body.  Internal examination reveals nothing amiss or unusual.  The only thing in all the tests Dr. Tate runs is that the body has ZERO electrical activity.  A dead body should still have, at least some, electrical activity.

Taking a sample of Cerebrospinal fluid from the spine Dr. Light sends it through a mass spectrometer for chemical analysis. He is looking for specific ionic chemicals to see if they have their ionic charges. This to verify if this is a chemical or atomic issue, the latter he can not do much to research here.

Dr. Light puts this into his report noting that there is no known natural phenomenon that can account for this. He then reviews where the body was found, when, and the other information. He then compares it to the other locations and information of other bodies where supervillians may have been involved.

Dr. Light consults the records of other bodies that have come in that have had odd causes of death. Once he has those listed he goes through them and looks for causes that would not normally be attributed to natural causes, such as a knife wound causing exsanguination.

Dr. Light goes and finds the nearest window, opens it, and is shooting off across town to Dwight and Hewlett. He intends to get a birds eye view of the area so that he can identify the armored car.

Dr. Tate, after opening the window (was that even necessary), changes into Dr. Light and blinks out of the morgue.  Quickly, he is over The Ghost District and first spots the armored car traveling fast and erratically.  Following the armored car are 4 figures on dirt bikes and behind them is a car in pursuit.  Traffic is parting for the armored car barrelling along the streets and before the traffic can return to its normal patterns the dirt bikes and then the car fly by.

Looking up ahead Dr. Light tries to figure out where the armored car is going and heads in that direction. Meanwhile, he looks at the way the armored car, bikes, and car are traveling trying to determine what is actually happening. Is the armored car leading or being chased?

The armored car is definitely being pursued.  As far as you can tell, the armored car is evading with no specific destination apparent.

Dr. Light flies heads down to get between the armored vehicle and the six motorcycles. In fact he tries to maneuver between the leading to bikes. Once he is in position to be effective against all 6 bikes, he sets off a blinding flash. His hope is to cause all of the bikers to drastically slow down since they will have a hard time seeing. This to block the car and let the armored vehicle get away.

OOC: 2 attack for the actual blinding flash within a 20 foot range, but no to hit roll. Victims need a 16 or higher (no general bonuses apply) to save. Page 55 Powers #1. Those that fail have a 65% chance to 'trip' for every 10 feet they travel.
