Agent Force and Dr. Light: Showdown at the Seawall
Agent Force:

Extinction seems to notice something.  His glowing and unblinking eyes divert from Agent Force for a second, thankfully, then back to Agent Force.  "Liar!"  Extinction is done talking.

Dr. Light:

Dr. Light is floating along the service road, of the industrial park, looking for anything out of place or anything that could lead to Agent Force.  When he hears someone, in the distance, scream "Liar!".

Initiatives and just first actions.  (Yes, we are going to try this action by action since you guys are answering pretty decently.)

It is quite obvious to Agent Force that he will need to defend himself against this thing. "Nothing I said was a lie. But if you deny my proposal, I'll defend myself."
    First action
  • if Agent Force can't access his defensive screens, he'll dodge this guy's attack
  • if Agent Force can access his defensive screens, the return of his powers would mean he has an automatic dodge, and his first action will be to start a personal force field

OOC: Agent Force rolled 17 using 1d20 with rolls of 17.  dodge(+2) or auto dodge (+3)

Dr. Light still has nothing to 'shoot at' so he keeps flying along the road, but at his fastest normal speed. If he does find something attacking his Agent Force, then he will attack it with lasers. Otherwise he will back Agent Force's play.

Agent Force and Dr. Light: Showdown at the Seawall
Dr. Light moves in closer, to the area where he believes he heard the scream from, and notices a commotion going on.  Moving closer, Dr. Light can see its Agent Force and some kind of demonic looking creature, made of bone, lock in hand to hand grapple.

Extinction moves for Agent Force.  A bony hand aiming for his face.  Agent Force goes to dodge but was just thrown off by those eyes.  Thrown off enough for Extinctions attack to succeed.  Extinction successfully grabs a hold of Agent Force's face and his left hand.  Immediately Agent Force can feel his energy be taken away some.

"Mmmmmmmmm, you're delicious."  Extinction says and somehow makes it look like his skull is smiling.

(Should Agent Force wish to break Extinction's grip on him, he would need to roll a d20 and add your parry or dodge bonus depending on how you attempt to break his grip on you.)

    Second action
  • Drawing his pistol, Agent Force grunts and says, "That hurts, and getting this close is a bad idea."
Rather than try to escape the things grip, Agent Force aims his pistol at Extinction and pulls the trigger.

OOC: shooting Extinction, bonus should be eight (not a called shot), Agent Force rolled 13 to hit,21 damage using 1d20+8,4d6 with rolls of 5,6,6,6,3.  attack and damage with called shot. Doubt that got past the AR, so I posted as if it didn't

Dr. Light stops where he can see the commotion, or 49ft away, which ever is longest. He shoots the creature that is grappling Agent Force.

15:49, Today: Dr. Light rolled 16 using 1d20+1 with rolls of 15.  Laser Attack#1.
18:52, Today: Dr. Light rolled 1 using 1d6 with rolls of 1.  Damage.
Should hit despite any penalty for shooting into a grapple, but I didn't want to chance hitting Agent Force with anything stronger than the laser on the first attack.

Agent Force and Dr. Light: Showdown at the Seawall
1st Melee 2nd actions.

Dr. Light goes to shoot a laser at the creature, fighting with Agent Force, but instead finds himself turning back to human and beginning to fall to the ground!  Dr. Tate falls the 30 some feet to the ground but manages to roll with the impact to minimize damage (8 damage).

Agent Force, with his right hand, withdraws one of his pistols and aims it toward Extinction.  Agent Force saying "That hurts, and getting this close is a bad idea." and then pulling the trigger on his gun.  Agent Force isn't sure if he hit, missed, or what exactly but Extinction didn't let go.  However this time Agent Force can feel a resistance (he managed) to Extinctions drain (no hit points lost this time).  "Struggling only prolongs things."  Extinction says to Agent Force, bending down and close to emphasize the words.

    Third action
  • The sound of Agent Force's voice suggests that if his facial features permitted the expression, he would be sneering at his armored antagonist. "Let's see what you look like under that bone," he says as he methodically pulls the trigger. The metal slide on his .45 rocks back and forth like a pair of hyperactive toddlers on a seesaw as the gat burps slugs at his skeletal adversary.1

OOC: Firing a short burst, +7 to hit, 4d6 damage doubled for the burst, uses two rounds.
Agent Force rolled 10,15 using 1d20+7,4d6 with rolls of 3,5,3,6,1.  attack and half damage for short burst.
to hit roll is 10, damage would be 30 (but probably didn't get through armor)

Nate turns and runs, pulling out his radio to call in their location. He attempts to take up his Light Form till he gets to it. Fighting this thing while his powers are negated would be stupid stupid stupid.

Agent Force and Dr. Light: Showdown at the Seawall
1st Melee 3rd actions.

Dr. Tate gets up and runs away from the fight as he pulls out his radio.  Just as he gets ready to use the radio his powers activate and the radio drops to the ground.  Turning and looking back.  Dr. Light can see he is just past the 60' mark from the 'thing', although Dr. Light doesn't have a clear line of sight to the two fighting.  He can just see parts of them here and there.  (Any range attacks from this location would be wild shots.)  A bullet whizzes through what would have been Dr. Tates left shoulder if he hadn't switched back to light form.  Agent Force lets off a burst close range at Extinction.  The bullets ricochet off of Extinction's bony armor and spread out into the early nite.  Agent Force and Extinction remain locked in hand to hand, literally.

Now that he is Dr. Light again, he uses his airy form to keep gliding backwards as he takes a shot at Extinction with his Photon Blast. His ranged attacks have WAY better range than 60' and he figures to take advantage.

15:49, Today: Dr. Light rolled 19 using 1d20 with rolls of 19. (Removed the +1))

Agent Force and Dr. Light: Showdown at the Seawall
1st Melee 4th actions.

Agent Force pulls the trigger again on his gun, this time the burst hits home and shards of bone go splintering off in every direction, just as a photon blast comes across Agent Force's right shoulder and hits Extinction in his left shoulder.  Extinction looks up and off to the left (to Agent Force's 10 or 10:30).  Dr. Light, after firing off the photon blast, feels his powers go again as he sees the bony creature look his direction.  This time Dr. Tate is not that far off the ground and only takes a few scratches (2 damage).  Agent Force can see there is damage to Extinction's bony armor but it's seems you have scratched the surface, so to say.

Included his fifth action in the previous post. To place this in perspective, what Dr. Light saw was
  1. Extinction grabs Agent Force
  2. Agent Force draws his pistol and empties it at Extinction

So his fifth action was predetermined...
...yes, he might be a Calvinist, but only time will tell.

Agent Force and Dr. Light: Showdown at the Seawall
1st Melee 5th actions.

Agent Force fires another burst into Extinction, emptying the clip.  More bullets ricocheting off of Extinctions armor and into the surrounding structure.  The sound of a helicopter can be heard, in the distance.  Dr. Tate sees he has landed near his radio, that he previously dropped.  "You're out."  Extinction says after looking back down at Agent Force.

Initiative, perception, jic save, and first actions please.

Agent Force and Dr. Light: Showdown at the Seawall
2nd Melee 1st action.

Dr. Tate grabs his radio and starts running away from the fight while working the radio.  "This is Dr. Tate!  Me and Agent Force are just down from 425 Industrial Way!  We have engaged Extinction!"  Dr. Tate is now over 100' away and can feel his powers have returned.

Agent Force slams into Extinction, when he feels his own body resisting whatever Extinction is doing to him.  Despite a surprise move and perfect execution, Agent Force is unable to topple Extinction but he does cause Extinction to slide back a few feet.  Agent Force had misjudged the weight of Extinction.  "Going somewhere?"  Extinction asks down to Agent Force.  Extinction's bony clawed left still sat wrapped around the right side of Agent Forces head and his right claw still holds Agent Forces left fist hostage.

2nd Melee 1st action.

jic save, jic perception, & 2nd actions (except for Agent Force on 2nd action)

Actually, not for Extinction or Agent Force. Using simultaneous attack meant the body block/tackle occurred simultaneous to Extinction's first action. Since "a successful maintain balance means the victim is not knocked down but loses one melee attack", Extinction has used his second action by avoiding the knockdown.

Nate becomes Dr. Light, while taking to the sky. He is going to be a beacon for the entire police force. While ascending he does a 180 to face the fight again. He will keep going till he is 400 feet from the 'action'.
