One of the latest arrivals to the cells floated almost gently through the air towards wherever the various guardsman directed it, and it was an it.

The... creature resembled a large Terran brain with several colorful splashes of luminescence that pulsed and danced over its flesh.

From its underside hung a series of tentacles that delicately caressed the air seemingly at random, one tentacle notably had thick metallic looking carapace ridging along its skin.

It had no visible face and was about the size of a large canine.

He sat in the middle of the room, easily one of the bigger inmates. Cybernetic augments on it's arms and legs gave it a strange appearance. The blue granite-like skin made the rest of him look certainly terrible and ferocious.
It noticed the new one and watched it with beady eyes that glinted with brutish cunning.

Geno drifted to the only available seat in the room, it would seem the large being with cybernetic enhancements had cleared a space for itself... or the other inmates had simply opted to sit further away.

It hovered just above its seat directly opposite Grukk, silently floating as its many tentacles brushed the air ever-so-gently around it, a mannerism which appeared constant.

"Nobody sits next to Grukk."
It glowered at the small floating thing. Cybernetic limbs twitching at odd intervals.

In reply to Inmate 2500 Grukk (msg # 5):

A voice echoed inside Grukk's mind, a response:

This one is not seated. The voice was melodious low and resonating, as each word was 'spoken' various areas of the creatures flesh pulsated in dull blue-greens.

It spoke the truth, Geno was unable to sit in the true sense of the word, only its tentacle-like limbs brushed the stool beneath it.

It stared at the brain. Keenly observing it's position and the tentacles then back to the thing that passed for a body.
"Not sitting, not standing... how do you do that?"

The voice resonated back again:

This One's race evolved under extreme conditions, a world in which the gravitational pull of the core is at least ten times heavier than most other carbon based lifeforms home planets.

In pulsed with a faint gold now, the colour traveled across it rhythmically illuminating veins and arteries.

Technological enhancement offers This One greater speed and navigational capabilities. The metal adorned tentacle glinted beneath it, the artificial carapace had razor sharp edges and intricate circuitry.

This One is a far more capable entity than that of... It paused and hovered from side to side caressing the air in front of Grukk before pulling it tentacles away again. "Nature's" baser experiments.

"You mean Grukk."
It snorted. Stretching it's arms out, letting the raw power of his form be known while it was mirrored by the complex whirl of gears and motors.
