Re: Mark's House: Basement/Secret Chamber
They were bound to him? All of them? Wait they were succubi! Demon women that ate men's souls for lunch! Mark was regretting even buying this house, out of all the-what did he do to deserve this? Sure having women bound to you might please some guys, and it was a little alluring, the very fact that they were demons kind of killed the desire.

A new weight had fallen upon his shoulders, a new mantle that he honestly didn't want. All Mark wanted was to live a quiet life. So much for that...at least there were four of them right? How long had they been trapped here? When Sanaa demonstrated the chain he looked down at his hand and noticed the back of his palm held the magic circle he touched earlier.

There were seven crests circling a larger crest. Before it was a black raven resting upon a globe of the world, now it was a large heart with a sword poking through it while blood dripped down the side. Was this his symbol? Odd there were seven...wait--!

Did that mean there were going to be more!? Closing his eyes Mark's mind reeled, this was all too real to be a dream. You can't feel dreams, his other hand touched the rune and it felt warm. Something now surged through his veins too, he couldn't tell but it was faint. This was kind of a rude awakening, probably for them. Opening his eyes he thought of something, if they were bound to the floor did that mean they had another master? Looking up he met the beautiful eyes of the Djinn, "What happened to your old Master? Did he or she die because when I found this place the rune on my hand was on the floor." he stated also asking.

Rupert sat as Mark's feet the fat cat's tail lazily moving about as it looked up at him then back at the odd people. He didn't care too much who was here, and after a while he began to bat at his hand. "MAOW!!" he shouted causing Mark to jump a bit and look down.

"Oh right! Food! Hang on buddy you'll eat in a second!" he said turning his attention to his pet cat for a second. Bending he picked up the large cat and held him, Rupert let him and relaxed in his arms as he nuzzled his arm. "How long have you all been...trapped?" it was obvious right? Even for him, for some reason they might have been left here maybe? Did they try to eat their last Master's soul?

"Ma-...ster?"

A light, airy voice shakily stirred within the air. Succubi. Succubi--that's what they were. How long had they been trapped?

"Ja-nee-chan?.." asked the feminine voice. "Is that you?.." The creature's grin widened in obvious glee, a small, pink tongue protruding out to glide along her bottom lip. The hands of the creature were unnaturally large, and hung from the thin being's frame like so many knives ready to tear flesh from bone.

Re: Mark's House: Basement/Secret Chamber
One of the seals went largely unnoticed, an inky black liquid oozed from the etched symbols of the rune, like oil bubbling and seeping from a crack, which slowly faded into the floor. The dark shape slid across the floor, not touching anything for it was merely shadow, until it snaked around behind Markus, inside his own shadow. A girl's head, with black, slightly unkempt hair and pallid skin surfaced from the stone floor itself as if it were water, emerging up to just below her crimson eyes in a similar manner to a crocodile lurking just below the surface of a river. Her eyelids hung low like she was tired or bored, then slowly began to rise out of the floor silently, until her legs were all that remained inside, halfway up her black stocking-clad thigh.

She folded her arms and spoke in her soft, monotone voice, not really to anyone in particular. "He's not very attentive, is he..."

Re: Mark's House: Basement/Secret Chamber
Leitha was looking around, searching for a game to play when the Master started asking questions. At first she thought that Chiyoko would answer as knowledge is her purview, but then, suddenly:

"Oh a game of questions and answers, a little basic, but it's a good first game! Mas..Mark!, said Leitha jumping up and down and with quick clapping. To answer your question of "what's going on here?", you destroyed a MA-GI-CAL SEAL, and by doing so, seven, but not a the same times it seem, Succubus are now free from the runes. I'm one of the seven by the way.

For you second question "Who are you three?", I will answer for myself and let the other answer for themselves. I'm Leitha, a Succubus of Leisureness. I can summon any games and play them as good or bad that my target need. It's really useful for keeping someone busy without attracting attention, know what I mean?"
, with a wink and a nudge.

"For your third question "Not "Master" not "Lord Markus" just "Mark" Ok?", it's okay for me to call you Mark. And it's a probably a good thing for us to not call you by your full name to many time.", said Leitha staring menacingly at Mark.

"For your fourth question "What happened to your old Master?", I do not know, he was a powerful Warlock and even I didn't his full power."

"And for your fifth question How long have you all been...trapped? It's probably been centuries. Mostly because if it's was least than decades, you would have know that some girls have demon wings and goes poof into a room; and if it's was more that millenniums, well, no human magic can span than long."

I think I'm not rusty, he will probably have more questions now than before. And I hope the others do not call out the bullshit, I can not lose my first game like that. Leitha then stand erect, as a student waiting for more questions from the teacher.

"At least someone else acknowledges his stupidity."

The dark haired one was... Ashera? It had been too long, and she was a lesser one as well. A good imitation, perhaps one of the better ones, but still an imitation. Jane stood at her full height again, frowning slightly at the Master's inane questions. Still, something else, someone else, required her attention. Namely, if she could recall her name correctly, the small mortal turned succubus that dared give her that... thing... it called a nickname.

"You were... Chiyoko, I think it was? One of the lesser ones. Unless I have suddenly developed memories that aren't mine, than yes, I am Jane Doe."

At last, solace.

"It is you!" she cried, seemingly ignoring the mean-spirited quip as she hurried forth. In fact, she seemed to be rather single-minded at the moment, focused entirely on the task at hand--whatever that task happened to be.

Throwing back her hood and stepping into the candlelight, Chi rushed towards the self-identified "Jane Doe" with open arms. Upon better inspection, her "large hands" were really the overhanging sleeves of her robe, which altogether seemed far too large for her to wear. Her irises were still golden, but no longer so mysteriously and menacingly glaring from within their sockets, let alone intimidating, as fresh tears streamed from them. Much to her dismay, she tripped on her robe on her way to her target, and began to fall towards her instead.

"Ayyy!" she yelped, falling with outstretched arms.

Re: Mark's House: Basement/Secret Chamber
Through the chaos there was another archaic rune started to shimmy. A faint crimson color started to glow and pulsate in the area that it resided. The stone like rune really started to jump about. Seemed like whatever was within it was stuck. It bounced a few times before a jagged crack stretched along surface. The glow bursting out. Slowly but surely the form of a female started to fill in, silhouetted against the vibrant light. A foot lifted in an attempt to 'step' out further into the room.

One foot out. A success. Another foot. Not so much of one. The form of the female started to flail slightly as it seemed her toe caught on the edge of the rock. Her hands coming out in front of her to shield her face from damage. " Aaaaaayyye!!" A squeal poured out from the lips of the woman. A startled sound for sure. Seconds later the once shadowed figure was tangible and clattered upon the floor. Eyes squinting from the impact. " Ita...ita..ita!" She pushed herself up off of the floor just slightly. Her cheeks tinting a lovely shade of pink which seemed to match the hue of her hair. " S-Sorry." She blinked a few times and looked in front of her. Her eyes solely focusing on the male in the room. She swallowed thickly. Was he? She looked to the others that had emerged from their own little prisons. The shade of color darkened on her cheeks as she rose entirely from her felled position. Her knees were ruddy from the violent tumble, but as she stood she simply brushed off of her skirt to rid it of annoying particles from the floor.

She looked to the male once more, her lips splitting into a wide grin. She took a few steps forward, nearly stumbling as she was still getting her land legs as it were. She approached him now. " Master?" She asked softly with a hint of uncertainty.  Her delay of course had her missing the whole chiding episode in regards of speaking his name and not some sort of formal display. She inclined her head, ribbons of hair falling over her shoulders and dangling down in front of her as she was partially bowed at him. " Greetings Master, I am Meridiana, Succubus of Avarice." She felt up to being fancy to make a good impression. She wasn't like Ashera, standing back and watching. She was proactive in her attempt of acknowledgement, though she may potentially not get it, as everything was sort of happening all at once.

Re: Mark's House: Basement/Secret Chamber
For a moment, just a moment, Jane was resolved to watch the annoyance known as Chiyoko take the fall, perhaps even assist by moving slightly and giving her nothing to catch. Then, the force that bound her to this realm kicked in, and she found her movements no longer her own. A single step took her within range of the younger succubus, and an arm lashed out, catching the her falling sibling and steadying her, all within that single instant.

Jane hated it.

Still, her arm remained securely in place around Chiyoko's shoulders, keeping a firm grip on her and ensuring she was steady. The conditions had to be fulfilled before Jane was released from its hold. Only once Chiyoko was safely back on her feet and at no risk to self injury did Jane return her arm to her side, taking a step back away to put some space between the two of them.

"Watch your step, lesser one. I despise wasting my time protecting you from yourself."

Re: Mark's House: Basement/Secret Chamber
Mark cringed a little inside at Jane's comment. "Oh pardon me, I seemed to have slept through my "How to summon demons" classes in school." he stated with sarcasm, sounding a bit annoyed. "Give me a break, something like this doesn't happen everyday. Maybe in your day it did but this is the 21st Century for Pete's Sake!" that Jane demon was starting to get on his nerves a bit.

Of course he couldn't blame her either. If what Leitha spoke of was true, then imagine yourself being trapped only to be awoken and soul linked with a weakly pathetic Human. Not that Mark thought of himself that way, but in her shoes he could only guess that's how she felt. Heck probably all of them were used to a powerful Warlock. Well, you couldn't change the past. Before he forgot Mark smiled warmly and kindly towards Leitha. "Thank you Leitha. I appreciate that, now I'm starting to grasp the situation here." Mark spoke with genuine kindness before sighing some.

"So you all were imprisoned by a Warlock for centuries, only to awaken now, thanks to my clumsy curiosity, and now you're all bound to me by force huh? Ouch that's got to suck, I'm...sorry about that." Mark rubbed the back of his head as he spoke. Rupert, on the other paw, had noticed Ashera. She would feel something warm and heavy rub against her legs as a friendly and loving Maow called out to her. As far as the cat was concerned these people were guests. Nuzzling at one of her hands to be petted it sat on the floor looking up at her with his cute slightly flattened derpy face.

"That's not very fair is it? You all should have your own lives, not be bound in chains. Though I guess you all don't have a choice, and here I've been a terrible host. I'll admit this is all a little strange but I'll get used to it. How about we leave this room eh? It's getting a bit stuffy in here." he spoke giving them all a kind smile.

They were all Succubi, demons, hell he didn't care! They were all under his roof now and as far as he concerned they were his guests! It was then he realized his whole purpose for coming down into the basement. "Oh right! The fuse box! There's a thunderstorm tonight, knocked out my power. So I came down here to switch it's source to one of the generators that was installed with this house. Give me a bit to do that, C'mon Rupert!" he spoke turning to look back at his cat only to turn around and blink staring at a pair of red eyes. A dark brown haired girl was standing in his shadow, earlier that probably would have freaked him out. Giving her a warm and kind smile he nodded. "I don't know what you find interesting about my shadow but I need to move. You can tag along if you want to."

Now he just needed his flashlight, where ever that damn thing went. Yet just as Mark was about to move on yet another woman appeared! Man they were popping out of no where! She clumsily fell making her entrance less than graceful. She was pretty too, heck all of them were pretty including 'Pouty Faced' Jane. Unlike the others she seemed to immediately focus on him, Mark glanced away shyly suddenly feeling so awkward. She called him "Master" again and that only added to his blush. Meridiana was her name, and she was a bit close.

Mark leaned back a little as their eyes met. "Uhh, you don't have to c-call me Master. My name's Mark, call me that if you wish. I mean I don't mind being called "Master" it's just a little odd hearing it. " he replied and admitted to Meridiana and everyone. At least she seemed more polite. Which was kind of nice.

Re: Mark's House: Basement/Secret Chamber
He seemed to speak to her right away. He was so cute! The way that he smiled and blushed. She did so love it when blood rushed through the system and stained the cheeks. More so on other people, but it drew a brighter smile to her face her head canting just slightly to the right. " Markus. Maaarrrkusss." She rolled his name around on her tongue like sampling wine. She determined that while she liked the name, Master was far more person. It showed where her loyalty lie. " M-Master it is then!" She inched closer still. " I like Master, it suits you." Her voice grew softer. She looked from left to right, her eyes seeming to sparkle with a hint of mischievousness. She was the Succubus of greed. It was in her nature to quickly attempt to attach herself and stake some sort of claim. She always wanted more, and he was giving her attention at the moment which only made the craving stronger.

She gave no sort of warning before simply through her arms around Master Markus. Her face attempting to nuzzle into his through. " So cuuute!" She whispered. Of course he'd be able to hear it because she was kind of up on him in the  attempted embrace. Her whole form swaying back and forth as she was determined to some how stay attached to him, regardless of his task prior. She hummed happily even if her own attentions and affections weren't desired.

Being a Succubus, she didn't really think about the traditional mortal sense of time and romance. For her, it was a simple as she saw something she wanted. A Master was someone who was going to have a particular control over them all, so why not make it an enjoyable experience?

Re: Mark's House: Basement/Secret Chamber
"Whoop!" the robed creature exhaled, finding herself caught around the shoulders and spared from sharing Meridiana's fate. She smiled starry-eyed at her savior, staring all the while being guided firmly to her feet. As if her sister's casual aspersions were but water glancing a steel constitution (or a blindly oblivious fool), she wiped her tears from her eyes with her oversized sleeves and nodded in confirmation. "I'll d-do my best, Janeechan."

Deep down, surely she knew that Jane hated that nickname.

She turned her head from her glorious sister to listen to her master as an attentive student might while being lectured by their favorite professor. It wasn't exactly quantum physics, but it was enthralling nevertheless. Did he just apologize? The notion took her aback, and she couldn't help but shyly murmur, "N-No, no--it's not y-your fault," before averting her eyes. As Mark elaborated on his titling preferences, Chiyoko couldn't help but speak up. With her big, golden eyes, and a sniffle from her nose, she asked, "But you are our master now... Aren't you?" She seemed to take the affair rather seriously, if not outright personally. Her eyes hesitantly flicked back and forth to and from the pair, Meridiana wrapped up around their newfound master, as if unable to truly decide if she could bear the sight.

Re: Mark's House: Basement/Secret Chamber
"Weak."

The words were spoken softly and just barely perceptible to those around her, Jane frowning at the scene in front of her, and the Master's casual decision to have her call him anything but what he was. They were not friends, they were servant and master. He was the lord, she his sword, however unwilling she was to remain in that role. However, one thing did catch her attention. Leaving the room. It seemed that was definitely the plan. Time then to capitalize on that. While he might require light, she had no such limitations, and she wanted to inspect her new home before anything else.

She chose to ignore Chiyoko for the moment, labeling her as unimportant to her current mission. Instead, demonic eyes cut through the darkness as the demoness made her way up and out along the stairway, pausing only long enough for the lever to open the passage for her before continuing her upward climb. Every inch of the home would be inspected, if only to familiarize herself with her surroundings, and the domain she'd be forced to protect from intruders.

The question made Sanaa drop her gaze for a long time. He'd certainly seemed fine last he'd stood there. Last they'd all stood there. As he'd tricked and imprisoned and betrayed and -  It still hurt. Theirs had been a purely professional relationship, but she'd trusted him and he'd used her.

She shook her head and nodded to her leisure sister for taking the role of spokeswoman. Focus, Sanaa. "Yes. Thank you, Leitha." Focus or it will happen again.

She smiled at her other sisters, heart lifting as more of them woke. "Good morning, Ashera, Meridiana. Yes, Chiyoko, he is our master. He seems to prefer a more casual level of interaction compared to our last, however."

Re: Mark's House: Basement/Secret Chamber
Ashera floated upwards, drawing her legs out of Mark's shadow when the cat came to nuzzle as her, settling down on her knees. She scooped her hands under Rupert's forelegs, lifting him up in the air and staring at the cat. After a moment of silence, she said in her placid tone "Cute..." She lowered the fluffball into her lap, giving it an experimental stroke on the head. She glanced up at Mark, her expression hard to gauge. She looked sleepy, with those half-open eyes, maybe a bit distant, idly stroking the cat settled upon her knees. She seemed a bit catlike herself, content to stare in silence.

Her gaze followed Jane as she strode out of the basement. She never liked how Jane treated the girl, given how much Chiyoko seemed to adore her. She decided to capitalise on the situation however, while Chi was surely distracted by the war succubus' leaving. She sunk into the ground, Rupert plopping down on the ground as she phased out of the wall behind the blue haired girl, hands first. Her pale fingers grabbed Chiyoko's chest shamelessly, giving a squeeze as she peered over her shoulder, still maintaining her calm look. "Did you get bigger while we were imprisoned?"

Mark's House: Basement/Secret Chamber
Alright now it was getting scary. He swallowed nervously and inched backwards as Meridiana seemed to just inch closer. The blush on his face turned a deeper shade of red as his body stiffened a little from suddenly being clung to. Mark didn't mind being hugged, but it was awkward. Wait did she just call him cute!? Glancing off to the side he tried to pull away, "Uhh t-that's nice..." he blurted out gently using his hands to try and peel the clinging demon off of him.

Rupert was glad to have made a new friend, and began to purr happily at the attention almost maowing happily when she called him cute! Yet now he wanted food more than ever, when she melted into the floor Rupert rubbed against Mark. "MAOW!!!" he shouted looking up at him.

"I-I know buddy I'll f-feed you in a se-second!" he stuttered still trying to pry Meridiana off of him. Hearing the question Chiyoko asked caused him to stop and stare at her. Before Ashera groped her, his eyes met hers. He was now, wasn't he? It sunk in causing him to panic inside. Mark was now responsible for six women? Six demons...six succubus. He was their Master now, even if by accident.

They were his responsibility now, his burden. That very reality washed over him like cold water. Closing his eyes he smiled softly giving her the answer he felt was the best.

"Y-Yes, Yes I am your Master Chiyoko. Though I don't know what I should be doing, you don't think you could help me out do you? This is the first time I've ever been given such an important position." he replied to her humbly smiling softly before tumbling to the ground in a crash from the weight Meridiana had pressed into him. "Gyahhhh!!!" he cried as he comically tumbled to the floor. "O-Ok! I really need to fix the lights now! Please let me go Meridiana!" he said with a defeated sigh. Rupert walked over and stared at him as he lay there, the cat's face super close to his.

"MAAAAAAAAAAA~AOOOOWWWWWWW!!!" he wined annoyed his derpy face looking annoyed. Mark sighed giving a defeated expression. Well this wasn't what he was expecting when he woke up this morning. Suddenly being the Master to six, maybe more, demon succubus women!? Well at least his life wasn't going to be that boring from now on.

Re: Mark's House: Basement/Secret Chamber
Chi was surely distracted indeed, appearing somewhat sad to watch Jane go, but her attention soon moved on to their master as he addressed her by name. "Chiyoko"-- so formal.

"P-Please, Master-- call me Chi."

Now he was asking for her advice! It was flattering, really, and she couldn't help but avert her eyes and blush at the thought. It reminded her of her days as the high scholar in service to the archon. Given her unique set of skills, it wasn't a rare thing for the then young Chiyoko to be called upon in an advisory role. Clearly, this was someone that also valued her opinion-- that valued the knowledge locked up in her beautiful, albeit quirky, mind.

She was about to deliver her answer when, suddenly, she felt an unexpected pressure over her chest, and instinctively cried out, "Ayyyyyyeee, Asherachan, ummphhh, I have not!~" Waving her arms around frantically, she seemed utterly helpless at the hands of the shadowy succubus. As Markus tumbled down, she could only manage to moan a concerned, "Master!~", yet do nothing to break his fall with Ashera's hands around her chest.

Re: Mark's House: Basement/Secret Chamber
She continued to sway and simply be happy in the moment of greed. She wanted all of his attention, why? Because she was a friggin' greed succubus. A curse human but the need was just as real as anything else. She beamed, not really thinking anything about his sudden stiffness or the fact that he was flailing to get her off with rapid pushes and struggles. She thought he was only trying to get more comfortable.

She hummed happily none the wiser about his discomfort, though the moment that he toppled she let out a little squeak of her own. Only she landed against something significantly softer than the floor, like the first time. " Ohh! Soft!" She seemed to burrow deeper against his neck with her nose. " Mas'ar 'alls a lot like 'eri?" Her voice was muffled by his flesh. She seemed content in that idea. She finally pulled back to note that the cat was observing the Master closely, so she thought to emulate that. She leaned down, tilting her head from left to right. " If Master needs lights, Master only needs to ask. Meri will fix lights." Yeah, she was offering, but that was likely not wise at all. Given her track record of accidental self destruction, just touching a bulb would likely result in an explosion of glass and pain. It was never her goal to hurt anyone, not even herself. Since her curse took hold, it was like that was a backlash to the magic that forever changed her. She was an eternal klutz, but she didn't mind too much.

She stayed against the warmth of Master for only a moment before she slowly rose, and offered her hand to assist him to get up. " Are you hurt Master? I am really good at fixing boo-boos." Another beaming expression blossomed over her face. For now she didn't drape herself over him, which gave him some room to breathe.

Re: Mark's House: Basement/Secret Chamber
He blushed feeling softness fall on him. Out of all the Succubi he had met Meridiana seemed to be the most..clinging. She imitated Rupert which caused his heart to pound in his chest. Her charm was starting to get to him a little, no he needed to focus! Lest he lose his soul! The temptation was strong with this one though, heck just thinking about being bound to six women almost caused him to have a breakdown. Yet he needed to focus, Mark needed to keep it together to survive!

Who knew what their true intentions were. Mark could have just stupidly unleashed hell onto the world! They all could have been evil women who were sealed away for a good reason! After all they were bound to a Warlock, most of them were evil right? Or well so he had read and seen in fantasy books and games. She offered to fix the lights and he smiled softly. "N-No Meri it's fine, I can do it. Thank you for the offer though." he replied feeling his body reach up and cup one of her cheeks with his palm.

He was thrilled when she got off and took her hand. Standing up he dusted himself off and stared at her a moment, the blush still upon his face. "I hope you don't mind me calling you Meri. Just like Chiyoko doesn't mind me calling her Chi." he spoke shyly smiling a bit. Still somewhat captivated Rupert bit into his pants and began to tug snapping him out and away from Meri's succubus charms!

Oh right! "Well I'm going to fix the lights and everything you all feel free to explore the house. P-Pick a room there's plenty. After all you might be my Succubi but you're also my guests!" he spoke before bowing politely. "I hope that I can be a good Master for you all! Now if you'll excuse me!"

Picking the flashlight up off the ground Mark immediately turned and began walking up the stairs. If he spent anymore time no doubt he would succumb. Slapping his cheeks he needed to focus on the task at hand. Rupert happily bounded up the stairs after him. Within a few moments the lights, and power, entered the veins of the house causing light to explode. It still was a bit dark in the basement, but a few lights, mostly near the washing and drying machine, lit up the room to show the stairs to the upper floor.

Mark kept his promise to Rupert and picked up his cat. Heading upstairs he made his way to the kitchen. Maybe his guests would like some refreshments? He could whip up something simple if they were hungry.

Ashera let out a subtle little smile, just at the corners of her mouth, if only for a moment. "A shame..." she uttered softly, releasing Chi from her grip, and the smile was gone. She stepped out of the wall, blinking and narrowing her eyes as the light blossomed into her vision when power was restore to the house. She sunk back into the wall and phased upward through the ceiling to follow behind Markus, curious about the boy.

She gave a rapid shake of her head. " I don't mind it at all, you are the Master of course." She had a habit of slipping in and out of third person, in particular when she was flustered or flirtatious. It happened when she seemed not to be focusing on things.

She held herself together fairly well as their Master moved to complete his task. With him finally stepping away from her to do that she reached up and touched her cheek where she had been cradled. Her cheeks were lit up with color and she lost herself for a moment. Eyes squinting and hips wiggling in joy. Her wings stretching out and flapping happily. She was in the zone! It wasn't that she was trying to scorn her 'siblings' in fact, she was fond of all of them. She was simply as her demonic nature created her to be. Just as they all were. Perhaps the one most closely related to her in personality was Chichan. Chi was a bit more reserved than she, falling into the shy spectrum of things. Each of them had a unique quality about them. Meridiana was no more special than the other, simply more outgoing and easily swayed by her emotions.

With the light now shining down in the basement, she decided that it was time to go pick out a room. She skipped merrily up the stairs, managing not to fall on her face by some miracle, though she did stub a toe at the exit of the basement. She hadn't thought about the fact there was one missing. Her mind clouded by her greed for Master's attentions.

Re: Mark's House: Basement/Secret Chamber
Leitha was not expecting the chaos cause by the other Succubi. The Master lost his focus and Leitha her game. She removed herself from the front, waiting for a new opportunity.

This new master was so confusing: there were "How to summon demons" classes in school but he never witness any Succubi going poof. Also he look like genuinely concerned with our well being. Is it a trap ?

Leitha started to show sign of impatience toward the two Succubi who were competing for the Master's attention. When the Master asked Chiyoko for help, Leitha furiously but silently cursed.

Leitha was impressed when the Master bring the light. What kind of magic could do that? And how much the Master have to be able to waste so much?

"Master...", but Leitha has wasted so much time in her head that the Master was already gone.

Well time to find a room and that game.

Re: Mark's House: Basement/Secret Chamber
Having been released from the lascivious grip of her dear Asherachan, Chi could finally take a breath of air and relax. "Whew," she sighed aloud, looking around the room in search of something. She began to hop around, poking about the artifacts that were strewn this way and that-- not impossibly a consequence of her theatrical entrance only moments ago.

At last, it appeared that she had located what she was looking for: the tomes. "A-hee!" she gleefully cheered, tapping each of the mysterious booklets with but her pointer finger. Each time, she seemed to mutter something beneath her breath, and a visibly blue spark could be seen connecting her flesh to the leather covers.

When she had finished with her strange task, she took it upon herself to needlessly slap her hands together in an apparent act of self-commendation.

"Knowledge is power," she whispered with a soft, mischievous voice.

Sanaa bowed from the waist as Mark made his exit. "As you wish." Once he was gone she smiled and remarked to no one in particular, "He's a bit like a puppy, isn't he?"

She reached around Chi and swept the dust-coated tomes into a neat pile. The djinn couldn't "read" nearly so swiftly, but the mage was right. Knowledge was power, and Sanaa needed both to do her job. "Let's leave our sister a note for when she wakes. The world has changed and we have much to catch up on."

Chiyoko smiled, coyly running a hand through her hair to tame a few unwieldy strands behind her ear. Turning to acknowledge her sister, she nodded in response to her request with a wink. Drawing in the air with her finger like an artist commanding a brush, nothing seemed to be happening-- nevertheless, she seemed confident in her movements, and didn't appear to act as if anything was amiss.

"There," she announced, twirling around in her airy, black robe. "Come-come, Sanaa! So much to learn, so little time!" At that, she hopped up a single step, then another, before taking a single greater hop that sailed her to the top of the staircase!

Re: Mark's House: Basement/Secret Chamber
As the last to stir from her imprisonment, Rose awoke to a mostly empty chamber.  She stretched her wings and gave a soft yawn, moving some stiff muscles back into some semblance of activity.  A broad smile formed as Rose's thoughts turned to recreation.  But out of concern for her sisters, she at least checked the other runes to make sure everyone else was free.

"Late to the party, it seems.  Is that... cat that I smell?"

Rose looked around for a cat but it seemed the feline had departed already.  But it was mostly likely within this house somewhere.  Well, it was time to go explore... but first, she needed a mirror.  After being bound for so long, she looked quite the mess.  Rose had to make do with a shard of glass, but she made do... combing her golden hair into its usual style.  Her dress felt flat and looked bleached of color (at least to her eyes).

Venturing out of the chamber, Rose looked around the basement.  It was mostly empty, but a crumpled magazine yielded a clue about people wore in this time... providing it was still 1995 (as per the magazine's time stamp).  Paging through the booklet, Rose chose a simple black dress and altered her appearance to suit.  It wasn't as good as wearing the real thing, but she'd worry about gathering clothes later.  In the meantime Rose intended to find some food and her missing sister...
