I thought 20 minutes was incredibly generous on your part GM, I mean we are talking about a full-on hoarders's nest right? :)

We should have brought our Owlbear back with us for Zorah.  Before it died, I mean.

There was an owlbear!  And I'm going to miss these faerire dragons that don't seem interested in talking to us?  Worst... day... ever.

It was a hard fought victory. We were lucky to get out alive. Cyrus took a beating, but fought bravely and against all odds we overcame it - see those marks on Cyrus, and that's after Andalon called on Abadar to heal him.  Yes, they do look as if he fell down a couple of pits. Those Owbears are vicious.

It'll sound much better once we get it to rhyme, trust me.  ;>

Is there anything else anyone would like not mentioned ?  Best to get it all sorted out now so we can get our stories straight provide Henry with a wholly positive and encouraging assessment of how we performed our assigned duties.

Well we better make sure we have a unified front when we tell the story. Sadly, I think I might be the weakest link on that front ;)

Re: Team player

I have been asked a couple of questions recently that started me thinking about loot -  and I thought I ought to share my thoughts on the subject with you all 

I dish out loot as it comes.  Sometimes I tweak what there is in the module, other times I just hand it out straight.  Some of the material I use comes from very different times and different rules systems -  and sometimes I forget to convert to the Path Finder norm.  Which could mean unusual forms of magical items or weird stuff that doesn’t exist now-a-days.

I pay attention to the Wealth by Level tables occasionally – just to check that I have been giving out about the right amount of loot.  But when you get the loot, it is up to you how you split it (see note 1) which means that you might not all get an even spread of loot.  I don’t worry about that, so long as the party loot is about the right level.

One effect of that means that you are liable to have more magical loot if you make use of the items that you find, rather than selling the items and trading them in for equipment you think is more suitable.  I don’t mind either way -  there are Magical Crafters in both Restov and New Stetven although that is a ‘mail order’ type service with items delivered some time later. Eventually you will get magical crafters in your own cities and towns  (I have plans for both Rikka and Adoven)

Later in the game you might come across dual purpose loot – for example you might amass ten masterwork weapons – which you could sell for about 1500gp -  or you might be able to use them to buy/build a guard for your city/fief etc -  so you will have another level of decision to make as well  :}

Some of your reward will come as land, titles and Influence -  but we will all have to wait (me included) to see how that fits in.

Note 1:  although Henry (and I) would like you to give some consideration to sharing monetary loot between the two groups.  That helps me keep loot in balance between the two parties and means I can dish out ‘fun’ or relevant encounters that are loot light (such as Erastil’s Shrine).

Re: Team player

I like that, it seems a fair system. I mean, in real world you want amass sums as quickly as others. Sometimes you make a lucky find, sometimes you keep a little for the uninvolved and divvy the rest. It certainly works for me.

I bow to you sir.
