Which means, barring a dagger or some other backup weapon, the Stag Lord has dropped all his weapons.

Zorah, Vik owes you a drink!

I missed that, thanks Cyrus.  Although he could attempt to hold on and take the damage.

So Andalon, if you manage to heal Vik in time much thanks!

Also how much gold is Andalon going to want for his services, Vik's really bleeding at moment.

In reply to Cyrus Ondari (msg # 973):

Yes I recall but Vik also paid in inadvertently (so as to keep in character) and she'd continue to show appreciation for special circumstances. Perhaps a something nice will be ordered for him?

Re: Getting close

I will be out of town form Tuesday until the weekend for a wedding.  It's unlikely I'll be able to check in and post other than on my phone.  I'll give it a try but make no promises.  If I do post, it will be brief.

Re: Getting close

D'Oh.  In my rush I uploaded the new map for group 3 over the top of a map for Group 1.  That will teach me to try an do 'Games stuff' before I go to work.

Sorry group 1 -  I'll fix it when I get home this evening.

Wait, did Andalon make Akiros a still target? If so, that's awesome! Good thinking Andalon! I'm sorry I didn't say so earlier!!!

Re: Getting close

It was an excellently timed spell.  A decent hit from Akiros, during his last action, could well have taken out Percy or Vik -  dependant on who was the target :)

So Cyrus did take the Stag Lord down!!! Woohoo!!!

Rook Sanderson:
Rook continues his journey  stepping past Percy and drawing his axe - to take a shot at Akiros, the one standing bandit.

Re: Getting close

I had to laugh seeing so many of you focussing on dealing damage to a helpless target ... because maybe nobody actually realised he was completely immobilised and no longer an immediate threat.  That's an example of the fog of war, I guess. My post didn't say Andalon was casting Hold Person on Akiros because other characters would not have actually known what spell was being cast, and the DM's description was just ambiguous enough to leave it open to interpretation. ;o)

Aw darn, that might mean the end of old Akiros!

Does "the last standing bandit" in Rook's post mean that the Stag Lord is down?

Re: Getting close

Just a suggestion, could we postpone Andalon's comments until after the GM summary? Just for narrative purposes. Or we can all pretend they came after.

Vik - I am afraid not.  Percy was incredibly precise with that thrust.

Cyrus -  I just moved Andalon's post.  :)

Re: Getting close

Thank you kindly, I know that's a preference thing and I also know Andalon only can post at certain hours so I appreciate him doing such an awesome job of doing so in advance!

I'm looking for it in the threads, but has anyone seen Kressle? I don't feel like she was in this fight, but I definitely expected her to be here. I'll ask about it in character, but if Cyrus killed her already, well then he wouldn't ask that, now would he.

Re: Getting close

I would apologise for posting that too early but, well, I'm not sorry at all. ;o)
I just wanted to avoid having everyone run off exploring straight after the fight and making it impossible to deliver the healing a lot of the party needs before someone triggers the next battle. Of course, that may happen yet anyway - I haven't read the game thread yet ... ;o)

Re: Getting close

Something for you to think of if you are planning to recruit an Entourage.
http://rp.baileymail.net/doku....gn_systems:entourage

Group 1 – you will be going to L4 next time you go up.  There is a bit to do yet, BUT it won’t be all that far away.  If you are planning to build an entourage – that is relevant  because ..

 Recruitment: You may only recruit one Cohort-Assistant per level.
 Level: Cohort-Assistants start at Level 1 and advance ONE level every time your PC gains an even numbered character level. They will never have more than half the levels that your PC does.

So you may want to recruit a L1 Cohort-Assistant now, who will go to L2 when you go to L4.  – for those of you with Noble pretentions, a L2 Squire / Secretary / Etc is always a good thing to have around.
You can recruit another L1 Cohort-Assistant when you do go to L4.

Group 3 – This is your chance to get in  on the act, IF you want to.  I have loads of L1 potential NPCs running around at the moment.

All of you
If you are considering taking the Squire or Leadership feats -  Talk to me.  We will find a way of integrating your potential Cohort before you get there 
