Re: Loot

Inside the scroll case, there are three normal sheets of paper and two quill pens.  The other sheet is tied closed and as Andalon  removes the ribbon a wave of weakness  rolls across him, only to be overcome by the strength of Abadar, himself.  Once unfurled, the scroll contains a map.  (See the group M map)

At the same time, Pipre sniffs at the mystery vial and tries touching it to her lips.  There is a slight antiseptic feeling, but nothing poisonous.

Re: Loot

Andalon breathes a sigh of relief as the debilitating effect of the spell or curse on the map quickly wears off.

"This map looks interesting. Unless I am greatly mistaken the area marked with fish symbols is the lake just to the south of Fort Stag. Those four red crosses are in the area east of the lake and south of the river that marks the southern extent of Henry's charter. Perhaps one day we will have a chance to explore that southern area and find out what those marks represent. I shall look forward to that adventure!"

When everyone has finished examining the map Andalon will roll it up again and store it away in his pack in the scrollcase, along with whatever is his share of the sheets of plain paper, ink and ink pens.

OOC: Compare this map to the Main Game Map which shows the overall plan of the Stolen Lands. This little map is a representation of the Kamelands area on that bigger map.

"Oh. That faint line looks like a trail of some kind, though it goes nowhere near the red crosses, although ..." Percy squints at the map "... there seem to be much smaller marks alongside it," the young gentleman points out the four tiny crosses at intervals on the right of that line.

Percy eyes the pewter mug speculatively, but elects to lay no claim to it.  Monetary considerations aside, if he needs to attempt the same trick again, it needs be with a cup that will break, not bounce !

Re: Loot

OK,  I'll stop derailing the thread now.  Back to treasure distribution  :) I suggest that Zorah has the amulet of Natural Armour - if nothing else that helps with wealth distribution  :)  According to my calculations I have given you comfortably enough treasure to meet the WBL guidelines for your current level and to be well on the way to recommended WBL for your next level.  You may not have distributed it evenly ....

I'd personally love the dragon, it's rather fitting given it's my Cavalier Order and all :)

Ooh, I like Zorah getting that amulet, fitting on many levels!

I would certainly take the amulet, but that would be of use to anyone.  Despite this last encounter I don't plan on being up front during combat in most cases.

This is where the lines of best use and fair get a little blurry. I think our GM was suggesting you get it because I don't think you've gotten much else.

Re: Loot

I'm fine using the items for the good of the group.  "Fair" and getting something Zorah would actually want don't need to be balanced in my mind.  I didn't ask for anything else yet because there hasn't been anything she would see as a need for her.  Also, I'm okay taking my share in gold for use on building up my animal sanctuary/zoo/farm later on.

Re: Loot

Who are the viable recipients of this treasure:
Percy
Andalon
Pipre
Zorah
Vik
Cyrus
Aris'ta?
Rook?
Valoria?

I don't want to count anyone out who isn't out, but I also want to make sure we get the shares right :)

EDIT: And our DM had just posted pretty much the same.

Also I'm not seeing the bag of Jewelry, we should split that evenly so we can all wear it to the wedding!

Re: Loot

I'm good with the amulet.  I think we should store the goods for now to be used at a later date by those who will start up some kind of holding/business.  For example, I know in general I want to start with a horse ranch, some kind of fur/meat herd animal (considering rabbits for breeding purposes), and messenger birds.  However, whether that actually happens, or happens in that order, and what I'll need to make it happen aren't clear in my mind yet.  I may or may not have good use for some of the supplies.  I won't know for sure until we start that process.

Re: Loot

Just realized something I should try to make a case for that I didn't consider until reading the thread.

Zorah is happy to take any horses others do not want.  If you already have a horse and/or don't need one I'm happy to include them in my cut of loot.

Re: Loot

I suggest we give the "green ring with a very minor magical aura (divination)" to Valoria. Presumably she will be able to determine what it is then can decide if she wants to keep it or trade it to someone else or sell it.

Andalon will ask for the "Carved ivory scroll case" (60gp) which I think came with the sheets of paper, ink and pens from the unknown adventurer's backpack (female gnome cleric previously robbed by the bandits?).

Surely the "Feather Token (tree)" should go to Zorah. No telling when an instant tree would be helpful for a druid!

The potions should be allocated among us all. There's no really equitable or logical way to allocate them. The suggestions below try to reflect need / usefulness vs what the characters have already gained in the distribution of items but if anyone wants to suggest changes please say so.
Percy 1x potion of cure light wounds, 1x potion of jump
Andalon 1x potion of lesser restoration
Pipre 1x potion of cure light wounds
Zorah 1x potion of bear's endurance
Vik 1x potion of cure moderate wounds
Cyrus 1x potion of cure moderate wounds
Aris'ta 1x potion of cure serious wounds
Rook 1x potion of cure light wounds
Valoria 1x potion of cure light wounds
In terms of the money, jewellery and trade goods I think that is up to Henry to say what he requires as his share then everything else gets split evenly between all 9 characters listed above (including those in the list who might effectively be NPCs now). Maybe that ends up as an even split between 10 people (including Henry) and Henry gets Fort Stag too.
