Ohh,   All the parties get little distractions and random encounters every so often.  Some lead to fights with gargoyles, some lead to herds of Elk, others might lead to trolls or dragons.  Some might just lead no where ....

I have an opportunity coming up shortly, for some one to play an NPC.  The character will go quite long periods with little or no activity, but will have have an opportunity to Role Play every so often and may even get a bit of action occasionally.

Couple of questions:

How we doing hps for leveling?

Are we considered rested after leveling? In other words do we have access to new spells and abilities?

Btw, I am sorry to have to ask, but we get a row call on who is playing what. I am sure it will be very important as soon as we start mixing it up with the lair.

Yep, you count as being fully levelled up and rested - I am being nice because I don't like players being so squishy that I can kill you by mistake  :)  When I kill you it will be because you did something stupid :)

HD -  You may either take the average  ( round down for even levels round up for odd levels this is an even level) or you can roll on the game's dice roller.  However, you are then stuck with whatever roll you get :)

I would appreciate a synopsis of what new HP, skills, feats, spells etc each of you gain when you level (either as a private line, PM or tacked onto the bottom of your character sheet)

You do realize that all dice in Pathfinder are even?

I do :)  however the average roll of a D10 is calculated (1+10)/2 = 5.5.  So if you roll a D10 for HP you may have 5hp at even levels and 6hp at odd levels :)
