Ok, in that case I would say Mariam should go first, followed by Cass, and then the rest of the party. Once we take the ebtrance and clear any guards, we can worry about changing the order and light.

I do have a Light spell which I am planning to use.

Sounds good to me. Cass can switch back to missile if needed, but go in with melee and magic first right behind/beside Mariam. We can go full lights at anytime.

Any chance I can take penalties on my Climb to help the rest of the party down (if any of them are in serious risk of falling, like with heavy armour)?

I'm not making anyone take damage, and it is narrow enough that you can only really get one person in the shaft at a time.  Best bet is eith stand at the bottom and help or use a rope.
