Tansy's Tavern is little more than one large common room  with a bar/server in one corner.

It the floor is uncovered floorboards, the walls are  unpainted wood, although the ceiling has been painted off-white. Tansy, the proprietor, is a large boned woman who clearly used to physical work who presides over the bar.   A bored looking waitress cleans tabletops, under the watchful eye of the bar's proprietor.

There are a few locals spread around the table, talking quietly and supping slowly at their mugs.

The door opens and a half-orc steps inside. He is a bit over 6 feet tall and carries a composite longbow, so he stoops a little to avoid banging his head or his bow on the doorframe. The raven perched on his shoulder ducks its head too, almost as though imitating the half-orc.

He glances around at those inside and raises a hand in greeting to the woman behind the bar then steps aside and holds the door open for the group of people who have arrived with him.

Wyn steps back and allows his wife to enter first, and then ushers the others into the bar.

"So which one of you two are getting he drinks in?" he asks his siblings, walking up to the bar.  "Lets start with a watered wine, please .." then he turns and asks the ladies, "Winnie?  Marcy?"

Marceline follows the Roths into Tansy's Tavern and takes a few moments to really take in the tavern and its occupants, her expression soft but neutral. She peeks back out at the docks quickly past Gedd before joining Wyn at the bar.

"Something honeyed for me, please."

"So," Pipre says once they are inside. "You were saying?"

Win smiles at Pipre "So what did you say you were drinking?"

Then he turns to the rest of his family group, "This is Pipre.  She is a councillor here ....." before he turn to scan the room for a free table.

"Hey," Pipre puts up her hands, "I was here to help you out. If you aren't interested and would rather dawdle around mumbling about drinks rather than talk to someone who can help you, go for it. If you don't have anything worth saying I'll be on my way."

"Oh, we'll come to your council chamber, if you prefer, but standing around in a street or the entrance to a bar, probably isn't the best place to discuss terms for investing in your town.  However, there a spare table in the corner ... " Wyn nods at a table in the far corner of the common room, "Where we can have a pleasant drink and speak a bit more discreetly.  And believe me, we need a drink after the last couple of days on that ship."
