Charani only looks at Panian with her red glowing eyes. "I must learn more." In her wispy ethereal hands she holds her sacred tarokka deck.  "What I have seen is for Hallid to hear."

Calmed by Theo's (private) words to her, and thankful to have something concrete to do, Loranys searches fir the broom. She realizes Krysnys is not there and opens the door to invite her in.

In reply to Loranys (msg # 20):

Krysnys enters at Loranys' invitation. She does not speak nor make eye contact with anyone, but her ears perk up when she overhears Charani mention a message for Hallid. She looks back at him pleadingly.

In reply to Krysnys (msg # 21):

Theodoric whispers to Charani so that only she can hear, "We blew it at the Fastness. Hallid and Krysnys can't hear bad news right now. Give them hope or hold your tongue."


Before she responds, Theodoric says out loud to the whole group. "Twice now we have been told that we can find help. The zombie spoke of help and now this note from Nichia gives hope."

Hallid is in deep conversation with panian and Charani.

Theodoric inspects the floor for any areas where dust or dirt might be hiding something underneath.

Krysnys starts looking around as well. She also looks up at the ceiling corners in case there are cobwebs or something else you could use a broom to clean.

You see that part of the floor is dusty which is strange because the rest of the house is free of dust.

Krysnys glances over at Hallid talking to Panian and CHarani. Even on her new, pale face, you can see read her feelings: despair and pain.

Krysnys moves to wear Loranys is sweeping and looks at the area.

Loranys yells out (which sounds like a horrible, rasping screech): GUYS! Come look!  She really wants to take a screen shot but can't because cell phones weren't invented yet. She memorizes the list.

Krysnys continues her self-pity party and grumbles, barely audible, but if you are listening you can make out "... can't even read the damn message..."

You realize that as you are looking around Grandmother Nichia' hovel that two other ghosly figures have appeared...it seems out of somewhere on Theodorics dead person. you make out the ghosly outline of Bart and Hawk. Hawk immediately goes to attack Panian!

Krysnys attempts to jump between Hawk and Panian, drawing her ax.

Loranys watches intently.  Her humanity is only partially present.  She feels very little inclination to help either one of them.

Hawk passes right through you...as he goes through you feel a chill...even colder than what you normally are....and an intense hatred....almost to a point where you feel yourself starting to hate panian too....almost

Krysnys turns to watch what is going to happen. She mutters, "damnit" as she turns.

Panian, during his conversation with Hallid, draws his two swords. This is his first combat as a ghost. He waits for Hawk to make the first move.

"Come towards me, attack me, make your friends hate you more than they already do. They won't admit it, but they know you are vile and evil now. They held you in such high regard and all you did was betray them and try to turn them against me, simply because Krysnys couldn't keep a secret."

Loranys' eyes narrow as she hears Panian's words.  "You are wrong, Panian."
