Anima

Anima Assets
-Anima district in Nexus
-Primary and Secondary Portal rights
-Portal Creator Explosion liability insurance

Anima Portals
-Nexus to Comowe: large ships, big, mass transit & trade
-

Anima Medical
-Malhemotin treatment research ((reveal cure & treatment on March 15))

Auraluna
When the party goes through the Portal to Auraluna, they exit onto the ground of what appears to be a vast complex filling the inside of a moon sized planetoid. The equatorial zone is lined with normal gravity structures, and closer to the center there are zero gravity structures. Every structure seems to have been grown from a singular large seed like object in the true center of Auraluna. Neon light of every hue emanates from photo-luminescent insects, molds, fungi, and the very bark of the superstructure itself. Shops of every sort and variety are apparent around the place. Aliens of every known and new race can probably be found. As much as Nexus is an old city of connections to everywhere, Auraluna is a new bazaar of new connections to new places. This entire place is leased by the Anima corporation from the Scil Phin. No one knows how much Anima pays the Scil Phin for use of the place - if at all.

I can't beleave I didn't think to do it sooner.... but Aflae proposes buying out a section on the Nexus not only for Anima buildings, selling, trade, ect ect..... but to have a port there and a portal in the nexus to the Oner Comowe nexus.

>.<

Silly of me not to have done that.

Just should making sure not to buy out any areas that put anyone out, hurt anyone, or step on the toes of corprate alies/rivals will be the hard part. ^.^;;;;

NARRATOR:
It costs a bit of cash to buy property in Nexus, but buying the Portal rights is the real cost. However, Aflae is able to buy the rights to create Portals to any location not currently connected to Nexus, and she gets secondary Portal rights for the rest. For secondary Portal rights, she can't undercut the primary Portal rights holder, but then she's free to connect to anywhere. She also has unlimited Private Portal use. Finally, she needs Portal Creator Explosion liability insurance.
The costs are well within Anima's budget.

RESEARCH

RESEARCH
Doomsday Prepping:
Anima works toward Oner 0 evacuation procedures which are certainly not a part of this plot arc, so I'm not even thinking about them yet.

Rulab containment:
Magus user researchers are able to determine the enchantment used on the glass to protect it from rulabs. A sprinkling of magem dust is put in goodblood, and then the whole goodblood vial is poured on a pane of glass. That entire pane will be completely Rulab resistant, but still subject to physical damage.

Remove Magem dependency:
From people:
Magus user researchers working with Magus healers combine their efforts to replace Balur prosthetics with Magus-regrown flesh, including the fleshification of magem-micro-gear brains like Patrus and Kantoku (if they desire it).

From Anima assets:
Magus users of all sorts come together to work on solutions. The bunny-people have learned & adopted population growth control and are no longer reproducing too quickly to sustain. Magem powered metaltree-hybrids are easily converted to a Magus version where - instead of producing magusstone to power things, they just produce Magus directly and use it to power preprogrammed spells. Within a week, the full functionality of a Magem Warren is convertable to Magus based equivalents. In the process, people begin discovering what appears to be naturally growing Magus mana crystals in Magus rich areas. These crystals allow access to spells in their categories.

From Portals:
Unimagus mages are contacted through searches made on the internet on Pskaena, and it is discovered that a group of no less than 7 Unimagus Users is required for Magus Portals to be made. Magus cooperation efforts stack fairly well, and are necessary for such high-level spells as Portal creation which requires such vastly complicated calculations to perform. Only a linked-hive-mind can accomplish such spells for most people. Groups are obtained, and one by one, all the Portals are replaced with Magus based Portals, which are more stable anyway, since they often program the space itself rather than forcing a shape on space like Balur does.

From Space Travel:
Anima R&D has been obtaining otherwise useless but interesting science and technology information from the Comowe for free, and supplemented by the Starfish Peoples' other sciences for small trade as a side project. It was useless before because of Balur-based-interference, but now that Balur is preoccupied elsewhere, tech is starting to work again.

Well nexus and comowe nexus don't have a direct link to each other I don't think...... if she let them and I forgot then she will see if she can buy up around the portal and buy the portal rites.... as in the long run it would be worth it.

I think the derect link to comowe nexus though was in scrapland or the life tree or something.....

She wants to open up one on a dock in nexus large enough for large ships to pass through.

a BIG BIG mass transit trade and transit portal.

Also after being told about people getting adicted to blood she will look into it, and once finding out about Malhemotin have the medical R&D look into a cure for it's addition.

Once the magus tree has generated some magus stones and Vial of Bonhemotin along with some good and bad blood to both the medical R&D and standard R&D to help them with there research.

Giving them from her supply and not the tree so she could tell them honestly she got them as payments when dealing with Magus and Sangwen, while she uses the tree to restock her own supplies.

Also was she able to create the magus metal like the shard metal?

quote:
magus metal

Magus is intended to be used. Magusstone can power preprogrammed spells or the spells of whoever is using the item created with it.

You could infuse metal with Magusstone, but the magusstone in the metal would be used up once it was utilized, and unless there was a preprogrammed spell attached to it, it would be available for the taking by anyone who had it.

However, you could probably cast a Magus-related spell on metal for whatever effect.

so metal with special properties granted by magus stone would brake up if those properties where activated...

what about trying to use spells to control how good blood affects the trasformation of materials into better ones to create materals with special properties?

A Sangwen could do that, and the person who was given the blood by a Sangwen could influence it.

One could also just cast spells on the metal directly. It all depends on the effect you want.
