I hope your move is quick and easy (or as easy as a move can be).

Re: OOC: Table Talk ONE

Been looking for a drawing that is close but I'll try to rough sketch one up tomorrow and describe it a bit more.  They are big rocks, like boulders half sticking out of the soft ground right where you are, but getting closer together as the land rises away from you.  At some point, the ground gives way to real solid stone as well, with large boulders piled throughout.  It rises about 50 feet but from the air, Inas can see it is only about 200 feet wide, beyond a beach, and then, well, an ocean of sorts, more on that tomorrow.  None of you have advanced to the rock ground, or even flown above it at this point.

Re: OOC: Table Talk ONE

In adventure maps I added a poor drawing, my skills clearly did not advance beyond first grade when it comes to art, but it should give a rough idea.

Re: OOC: Table Talk ONE

jfyi, only the birds have seen the ocean or the city, you still have a 200 feet stretch of stones between you and beach, and the birds only have seen it from a distance.

Re: OOC: Table Talk ONE

At this point, is Rath's mind still muddled or is he back to "normal" for the dream-plane?

Still muddled a bit but every step he takes down towards the beach, he becomes less so.

Gang - busy time of year for me - no excuses, just my particular reality. Sorry for delays in posting, and if you have NPC Marissa, by all means - don't let me hold the adventure up.

Re: OOC: Table Talk ONE

It looks like we lost Folke. I suppose he's easy enough to write out and back in again in the dream realm, but of course that's up to the DM. After Saliq weighs in, I move that we adjourn to a dream-tavern and hash out a plan.

I agree.

BTW, I am not constantly deferring to Saliq out of laziness.  From Inas' perspective, this foray into the dream world was instigated by Saliq -- which is not meant as blame.  Undeniably, this is more his domain than Inas'.  If we were in the forest, Inas would take the lead; here, he's a fish so far out out of water that it's not funny, and he's going to defer to Saliq.

Re: OOC: Table Talk ONE

You guys are fine, as far as I'm concerned. This game's taken a bit of a turn here, and I find myself a bit out of my league.

I still try to check in periodically to let you all know I'm still alive.

Re: OOC: Table Talk ONE

I hadn't realised Folke had been gone that long, that's a shame. :(

Also sorry I haven't been more active recently; I admit I've been a bit distracted (not because of anything bad just general distractedness.) Still thanks for the vote of confidence Inas!

Re: OOC: Table Talk ONE

Rath is deferring to Saliq because he's always thought of the wizard as the team leader. Must be the high Charisma.

As you have noticed, Folke's player has gracefully bowed out.  I plan to continue on without him for the time being.

Re: OOC: Table Talk ONE

This chapter of our adventure has a feel much like 'The Chronicles of Coran' by Michael Moorcock. Coran was one of the incarnations of the Eternal Champion.
