The temple of Pelor was located in the Garden Quarter of Greyhawk. the grand temple itself was more than hundred winters old. The outside under close inspection seemed in need of repair. The granite steps leading to the great double doors made of rosewood were indeed cracked in spots. Yet as Deverick and Blossom pushed their way inside they both noticed the golden draperies, that symbolize the goodness of Pelor were as bright as new. One of the eight acolytes approached the couple as they entered.

"Pelor's light be with you both. What may i do for you this day?" he said with a warm smile.

Then from the back of the Sanctuary they heard a shout!

"Ho Artos! I will help them!" said a familiar voice.

Sulwyn came striding up nodding in greeting. Artos simply smiled and said.

"May Pelor's light guide you then." he said and then he was gone.

Once his fellow was out of earshot< Sulwyn looked between them "It is good to see you both. What may I do for you? Are you... in need of healing?"

 Deverick walked with Blossom into the Temple of Pelor.After Sulwyn sent the other acolyte away,He spokein a low tone.

" Well met,Sulwyn, I jus decided ta av a look see at this temple.I says ta Blossom, since we be in th area, lets go say hi ta Sulwyn,and sees his temple." Deverick smiled but them continued in a low voice.

 " Nay, we ay need o' healing....nay yet, anyways. I or we av some buggers wearing black cloaks trailing after us like dogs following a ham bone. I be told three o' them be watching me aunties place th Widow's Rest. They nay be foot pads cause they be wearin mail, Warriors more as like, Mayhap Mercs, Mayhap not. Others things ta tell ye, en her Nibs up at the Citadel. Our nibs be thinking the that this er nonsense mayhap be a doppelganger."

 Deverick then seemed hesitate for a moment,like he wanted say something, but then not wanting too. He finally reached into his boot top and took out the letter from Dimitri,and offered it to Sulwyn

"This here be me folly, mayhap. I was asked ta speak with a Barge Folk Lord by th name o' Dimitri. I be half o' th Folk through me mum,so I agreed. The beggar had something that belonged to be mum,something with magic to it. he let me try it on and I saw me mum. I knows I should nay o' agreed ta do his errand,but he nay wants it ta be known this be from him. I nay know whats on that there paper, be truth or a pack o' lies. But I agreed ta pass it on ta the Watch in exchange fer me mums necklace.
"

Deverick handed the paper to the Cleric.

Sulwyn brows rose in surprise but then nodded in recognition.

"Pelor is with you my friends!" he said loudly and as he went through the motions of a blessing, the acolyte lowered his voice in turn.

"Tess told me you may have run into trouble. I know she can be a pain sometime but she is genuinely concerned about you. Oh! Speaking of her... she said she sent some lads to the Green Dragon you may wish to look up. I guess they know to look for you. I'll pass this on to Derider. Doppelganger! Why I thought they were just myth and legends. Allow me to bless you in truth. For an hour or so Pelor may bless you in your greatest need."

He did so and then said "Is there anything you want your aunt to know? Tess will be by later she can pass it on."

 Deverick raised an eyebrow. "Lads? What Lads?? Be she hiring bravos o' her own? Well, we will go there and see what be what then. Thank ye fer yer time, Sulwyn. Remember, tell er nibs that note might be truth or total offal. They be rivals,and he be trying ta jam this other up. Fare well,and thank ye."

 Deverick would leave the temple of Pelor,and next head for the Temple of Tritherion. His intention was to pray and offer a donation to the temple.

Upon Deverock's and Ovo's arrival, Sulwyn is summoned and arrives quickly enough with some concern upon his features.

"What is amiss Deverick? I know something is wrong for the hour is late. How may I aid you?"

 The letter from the constable worked its own form of magic, and allowed the two comrades pass the gate, and at night, no less. When they arrived at the temple of Pelor, Deverick asked one of the under Priests to fetch  Sulwyn.

 When Sulwyn finally appeared, Deverick had been pacing the floor. “ Sir. Sir.. We av need of yer help, in truth we do. Blossom, she be one o’ me mates, she was attacked by an invisible skulker, and she be hurt. I gave er me last potion o’ healing, but she needs more. Can ye come, or send another like ye?”

Sulwyn nodded gravely and swallowed hard "Dire news indeed. I know the constable would want to know of this. Give me one moment to write a hasty note to her and then I'll come with you. I will heal her if Pelor wills it. Are both of you hale then?"

Ovo nodded but remained tight lipped. Deverick knew that the dwarf was uneasy leaving Blossom behind but would not allow Him to move about the city alone.

"Do you mind if i leave word where I am going? Just so someone will know in case something would happen along the way." said the priest with a cocked brow.

 Deverick looked at Sulwyn,and did not answer at first,but then spoke." I be fine,Sir. If it was up ta me,aye,ye could tell em our destination. But it ain't up ta me,Sir,so I be askin ye ta remian tight lipped as ta our location."

At just a few breaths Sulwyn returned carrying his satchel and had a mace upon his belt now. He nodded to Deverick.

"I am ready good warrior and I kept your faith. I did not mention where we were going but I did send a missive to Derider. I wanted her to know of the dangers now arising. If you are both ready lead on so I may aid your friend."

he said the last as he shouldered his satchel and waited for the twain to lead him.

 Deverick nodded to the Cleric,then took the lead to guide the trio back to the Sullen Sulkie. Deverick was doing his best to see if they where being followed towards the gate and beyond.
