Scene 5: Saloon
The Swamp Clan warriors confer with each other in whispered mumbled. Then, the logaroo hisses at them. The Lizard Man on the left fingers his holstered gun anxiously. Even the horses seem to speak. The Lizard Man to the right (in the sombrero) speaks for the group, saying, "We have considered your words, mammals. You have claim to the witch's life just as the Swamp Clan does. As a gift from the marsh, we will wait here while you investigate and if she is inside, while you kill the witch. Our duty is to see the witch die this night. The clan will accept the witch's body as proof of justice, but if you claim the body as a trophy, we can settle for just her heart. We will wait no longer than a shedding, about one hour of your time. May your justice be quick and your teeth sharp, mammals."
Annoyed by this development, the banshee flies away in the dark night sky.
