Silly me.  Forgot to answer the question.

Kid was smart and lucky.  Made his way home before we went looking through a park run by at least one Vietnamese gang.  If we had had to go in there and leave a mess for the police, my buddy would have been pissed.  As it was, he put his son through some martial arts training when we got to his ex-wife's place and the kid was there.

Before 9/11 the US Coast Guard probably saw more action saving lives and intercepting drug runners then the rest of the US military.

No joke.  My plant operator told me a couple of stories from his time as a Coastie.  One sounded like one of the accidents we dealt with in Saudi.  The other was just something fun.

Nope.  In the Atlantis Worldbook, Nomads specifically learn Atlantean, while Undead Slayers learn Greek.

RPOL has a language group feature. I use it in my Robotech and Dead Reign games.

Technically Atlanteans all speak Greek. It is like the early books reference Elvish and Dragonese as one language, but you don't get told that for a while. Trust us you speak Atlantean(Ancient Greek) regardless of Nomad or Undead slayer. One of the many cases where Kevin could have used a better proofreader.

Nothing wrong with Kevin's writing except you should never employ your friends to proofread or fact check your stuff unless your friend can look you dead in the eye and tell you you are an idiot and expect you to go yeah that makes sense in that context buddy. Let me fix that.

Have you read a Rifts book. Either he doesn't or his proof reader/editor needs a new set of glasses.

From what I have heard from people that have submitted stuff to Palladium and from people that know Kevin, its less that he doesn't take criticism well so much as it is he is an extreme micro-manager. No project moves forward without his express approval and intervention. According to those sources, that is why it takes so long to get any book out; KS not only has to see the rough draft but he will edit himself, adding and deleting things as he sees fit. Until he rewrites whatever is turned in, nothing goes to the printer.

It was a joke Jason. Granted sarcasm doesn't translate, but the whole new job or glasses comment I thought conveyed that.

I forget which book it's in, but I was looking through one of the HU2 books and found a character that one of my old gaming buddies was playing years ago.  Apparently, he submitted the character and he was printed up.

After the GM posts (and the crap doesn’t hit the fan) Na-Wa is going to if anyone is inside. If anyone is inside he’s going to crawl in and shank them with a vibro blade. Na-Wa has H2H Assassin so he knows how to kill silently and quickly.

Not sure if the GM will allow it but even in full EBA there has to be weak point to slide a blade into. If it’s an MDC creature a vibro blade at the base of the skull or some other vital area should be enough.
