Re: OOC Topic

Grunt was mostly hoping that Endings had a strong affinity for dealing with the dead. Certainly didn't expect it but one always hopes.

Re: OOC Topic

I'll post initiative for Lyla once we see what Endings & Grunt are up to. So if you botch your rolls, she'll be there to fish you out.

Re: OOC Topic

Spammer here again:
I have a suggestion concerning these times of "I am *insert reason here* and cannot post". Yes, people have lives and things to attend to, so it's normal for it take a while for all of us to post (naturally this problem also becames smaller when we are no longer all in the same thread depending on each other) but still to get onwards with the plot and things at least I would love to get forward a bit faster instead of a turn taking a week to do.

So thus, I'd suggest some solution to this: My idea was that the player would be asking for some other player to post for you and fill out the roll things etc, fluff can be added later. Or asking the GM to roll and post for you in obvious cases of "what are you going to do". Naturally the latter means more work for GM, who is already busy as it is with everything else.

My suggestion only applies to cases like in which we are now, aka combat. Ofcourse if someone else is away from all internet connection for a week, then its different.

Re: OOC Topic

I agree with Avy, it's understandable to have stuff holding you up but that's exactly why a system to stop things from stalling when that happens is good to have.

I think a 24 hour period after the last GM post would be reasonable? If you know you can't do it by then, tell someone to do it for you, or if nothing's been heard after 24h either the GM or someone else will do what would seem natural for the character.

Of course, this is only necessary in situations like the current thread where there's multiple PCs at the same place in combat or otherwise dependent on each other's timely input in order to advance.

Kumiho is suggesting grouping the crappy fighters together in the same zone via the judicious use of Knockbacks, then slamming that zone with an AoE attack.

Didn't realize the minor action variant of old painless still had to be performed on initiative. Saves me chi. Will fix later.Don't roll defense. Need sleep.

Nonsense, what else would the nihilist villains aiming for the downfall of humanity use?

Clearly we need to upgrade our transmitters. To cruelly deprive them of our flows is a cruelty, and we must not go down to their level.

Re: OOC Topic

Managed to finish the calculations for the Blocks and Disorients/Disrupts, minus the Bathory. Looking at another 8 Ripples (Bringing it up to 23), 4 Rippling Rolls, and a successful Disrupt to Toughness so far. This could be it.

Thanks for the patience, everyone.  Expect a large post (with a tactical shift) tomorrow night.  Today has been crazy.  Trying to at least get the rolls done.  You don't want to roll init yet.
