RTJs & Character Creation
Character Creation
1. Level: 1, no exceptions
2. Species: Any, although water-dwellers would be a stupid choice, and the Sith Pureblood Race is extinct
3. Background: Any
4. Ability Scores: Planned Generation with 30 points
5. Starting Gear: Roll for Credits re-rolling 1s, plus get the free stuff from your Background.
6. Equipment: Any from the Core Rule Book that you can afford with starting money.  Items from the old Saga Edition Rules will be entertained, although I will have to convert them for the new rules.

Q&A 1. Can I play a Jedi? : Yes.  But you're a Padawan who was hidden away before your master went off and died at the Battle of Camaas.  Ditto if you want to be a Sith.
Q&A 2. Can I play a Droid? : Yes.
Q&A 3. Can my Wookiee have a Bowcaster? : Totally.
Q&A 4. Can we have a ship? : No.  You will buy one later.
Q&A 5. Can my Bounty Hunter have some kick-ass armor? : What part of Level 1 don't you get?  You can buy it or build it later.
Q&A 6. My characters works for the Empire.  So can I have some free stuff like Stormtrooper Armor? : No.  If you serve the Empire, you're only enlisted in the Army.  The Fel Empire are cheapskates.  They make their soldiers buy their equipment out of their own pay.  So getting into special units like the Stormtroopers takes an investment of your own money.  Working for the Empire though, you do collect a fat paycheck at the end of the month.  That is if you always show up for duty, which kind of precludes adventuring.
Q&A 7. Why do you keep saying, "Buy it later"? : Spoiler alert.  I can't tell you why.

Include the following in your RTJ
Character's Name:
Character's Species:
Character's Class:
Character's Alignment:
Force Sensitive: Yes, No, or maybe in the future will do
Writing Sample: A brief character background, mostly describing your character's family background, or lack thereof as the case may be.  Include a reason why you're slumming it on Tattooine.

You may submit two Characters in your RTJ.  They must have different alignments so that they will be in placed in two different groups.  That will double your chances of getting into the game.  But you must be willing to submit the time to play both if both characters are accepted.
