Scene 1: At the Airport
The Earth. A lovely planet in a special solar system. One of those capable of bearing life. The dominant species on it - Humans. It isn't a peaceful place, but the rotating blue or hanging in space made everything so… Wonderful. From a distance a view of the planet could steal ones breath.

It had been five months since the existence of alien life forms had been rudely discovered by humankind, and that had lead to a universe of problems and solutions. Everyone on Earth had to rush. The planet wasn't yet caught up with advanced civilizations scattered throughout the stars, but it was far more advanced than it had been before. In different cities across the world spaceports were being built. Laws were being changed to match those of the Sonohoka-Jin. The way children were educated had to be updated.

At the center of this all was Aoi, Japan. It was the city where it all started… And a target as such. Around the area there had been a slew of random missing persons cases. The minds of the people instantly turned to their interstellar allies and their enemies. Abduction was a powerful word.

So two teams were hired. One, all-American. A world famous squad of detectives who were used to the paranormal. Another, a mixed species diplomatic group from Japan. Their mission: To work together in order to find the cause of these abductions, and recover the missing civilians.

Everything would begin in the Aoi airport, with the arrival of a non-stop flight from New York City.

Scene 1: At the Airport
Aurora was waiting at the gate, while fidgeting with her orb. Having impressed Momo was a good thing - She could easily get into places that were normally off limits now. That being said, perhaps waiting for her old friends at the gate to the airport wasn't the best idea. She was trying to create a hologram - Pull together the last few things necessary in order to explain what was going on to her old friends. Were they friends? Well, Vi was. And after the... incident... She could most certainly count Vince as one too (Even if he refused to acknowledge her!)

As the doors opened she waved hello, "Welcome to Japan amicorum! So excited to have you here."

Scene 1: At the Airport
A man stepped off the plane, a light wind tugged at his trench coat while sharp eyes beheld the waiting woman. He gave her a grin of his own, and tipped his fedora as he drew closer. So much had happened in his life since the two last saw each other, that were it not for his friend's youthful look he might in fact believe it was.

Despite his rumpled appearance, the newcomer's clothing was of high quality and bespoke of his good fortune; he was James Jenkins, author of four best selling novels to date with one done movie deal and a second pending. He had managed to mix film noir, sci-fi, and fantasy into a wonderful world in which amazing adventures happened. He made it seem so realistic, that he was consulted on a matter of the unusual; then another, and another, until he himself became essentially the character he wrote about. He even dressed the part, complete with a fake cigarette he kept behind an ear or in a corner of his mouth. As the author and sleuth drew close to the women, he opened his arms for a hug.

"Hey there stranger, how you been?"

Scene 1: At the Airport
Of course Aurora started babbling in Japanese - Her new favorite language, the moment she saw Jimmy. Of course! The two of them had never been particularly close, but she had always been fond of the man. Unfortunately she hadn't seen him, or Vi for that matter, on her trip back to Long River a month prior. But just the moment that she got to witness him showing up - First one off of the plane - Was enough. Quickly the muscular girl wrapped her arms around him, "Hey Strong-Jaw! I'm doing well, training to become a TTCA Agent. These Aliens sure are nice - Always have been fond of 'em. Even if that... Nevermind that! How are you?"

Jimmy returned the hug.

"Oh, I'm good. I guess you could say not much has changed for me, since that summer we met; I'm still dealing with unusual things, and writing stories about them. Between my two professions I make enough to live off of, so no complaints. So, you got the Roman phase out of your system, or do I need to be on the lookout for wooden swords?"

"No, now you need to be on the lookout for guns. She's into secret agents now," Said a cheerful sounding voice coming from down the hall. Through the foot traffic of the airport pushed through another girl. There were a few defining features that one could make out that identified her as a person, or rather alien, who had been on the news rather frequently. From the jet black hair curled around her head, to the piercing blue eyes that seemed to radiate a specific brand of energy, it was obvious that the person was an important Sonohoka-Jin diplomat. Only members of the higher castes had those darker features contrasting with pale skin. But she still seemed average, wearing a white dress with a baby blue leather jacket, pumped up boots, and toting a soft drink in her hands. In her ear there was a single headphone, and by her mouth there was a microphone. What she said and her words didn't match, indicating that she was using a translator, "Sorry for the wait! My name is Princess Ueta Shizuka, though, please, just call me Shizu, and I'll be your host while you're in Japan. From the hug, I guess that you're already acquainted with Agent Animosita?"

Scene 1: At the Airport
Aurora released Jimmy after giving him a quick pat on the back, then turned to face the Sonohoka-Jin. She smiled slightly, and said, "Shizu-dono, this is the esteemed writer Mr. James Jenkins. We went to camp together, and were apart of the same club for a year. Jimmy," She then turned to face her old comrade again, "This is Princess Shizuka Ueta, Crowned Monarch of the Sonnohokan Empire, heiress to the throne, and Ambassador to Earth. You two will get along famously!"

Vince arrived shortly after everyone his glasses gleaming in the light.  He stayed quiet for a few moments as his badge around his waste had changed.  It had clearly written on it head detective and he seemed different in so many ways.  Almost like he had seen far more then last they met and this was true.   He had accomplished so much in such a short amount of time it was almost impossible not to hear mention of him from one source or another.  He walked up to James who he had not seen in some time thanks to his constant work.  Vince said in typical calm cool voice, "James it's been some time I have heard of your books though I've been far to busy to read them.  Still it's good to see you again."  He extended a hand to James and then gave a quick look to Aurora and Shizu.  He didn't say anything to them at least not yet old habits died hard for Vince and well their was that whole thing as well.  Still he at least nodded to them wanting to catch up with his old friend first before doing much of anything else.

Scene 1: At the Airport
Instead of resorting to human gestures , the writer greeted the Princess in the traditional way her people used when interacting with royalty; he had been brushing up, it seemed.

"A pleasure, your Highness."

Before he could say anything more, Sharpe joined the group and James turned to him with a grin before giving him a gentle slap on the shoulder in greeting.

"Hey Vince, good to see you again. I've read about you too buddy, you're in the news about every week. Glad to see things worked out so well for you, you deserved it."

"Please don't do anything like that! It makes me feel nervous, and antiquated gestures are totally my Parental Guardian's thing," Shizuka said with a slight blush on her face. She waved her hand up and down carelessly, as if dismissing the notion that she was better than him. The Princess then stated, "I'm a member of the coalition, just like Agent Animosita. So, since we'll be working together, there's really no need to be so formal."

She then looked to Vince, and greeted him, "Detective Sharpe, it's nice to see you again. Though this time your thoughts are far less... Depressing! It makes me happy to see that you've straightened out a bit."

Violetta finally arrived to where the others were, and it was rather apparent what had been keeping her. She had a large pack on the back, and two more at her sides. She looked like a turtle that was saving two more turtles out of a pond. Although she was a bit dwarfed by the size of the luggage, the now high-schooler was noticeably taller than the tiny child that attended summer camp. Her blonde hair was longer too, now reaching past her shoulders.

She approached them, but then looked over to the side, by a support beam, and rushed towards it. She grabbed a hiding figure and toppled over on top of it. The figure dropped what looked like a cross between a satellite dish and a radar gun, which slid out towards the others "Wah, look out! That's one of those things from the alien empire! It uses sound and can take out a whole room!" She flailed, seeming unable to get off of the mystery assailant.

The girl that was tackled also flailed miserably. She has bright golden eyes, and pale white hair. She had blue skin, a trait of the Sonohoka-jin, which was gradually turning bluer as she was crushed by the luggage toting human. "It's not a Sonic Handcanon. It's simply a scanner made from the parts of one." She seemed oddly calm in her explanation. "It was inspired by your earth sea animals that use echolocation. There are to be no weapons on this mission... Ah, but I never realized that a large quantity of household items surrounded by a cloth container could also be such a formidable weapon. I see no way out..." She groaned and collapsed. Unable to reach any of her own devices while planted firmly on the floor.

Soon enough there were excited arms around Violetta. Any chance of Aurora trying to be a professional was gone the moment that her old friend stepped off the plane, "Vi! I missed you! Omg. I have so much to tell you about amica! And so many places to show you - If this wasn't a business trip I'd totally bring you all around the country!" She swept the now appreciably taller girl up into her arms and squeezed. This, essentially freed Chief Scientist Tenshin. But, honestly, it probably would have been better if Chiaki was trapped. Then Violetta wouldn't have been crushed.

Scene 1: At the Airport
"Alright, alright," Another girl came from the same direction as Shizuka and Chiaki. It seemed as though the trio of Sonohoka-Jin officials was completed with this person. She was dressed in a similar manner to Vince, with a human-styled pants piece suit and tie. Pinstripes ran down the black silk in a slimming way. Her tie, in turn, was a bright blue to match her makeup, "Let's get down to business, shall we? You can all greet each other in the car, but we're meeting with the ESC - Earth-Sonohoka Coalition - in an hour. So there isn't time to dawdle."

Though her words were fairly professional, the girl's hair was not. Yamada Momo had bright pink locks that were tied up into pig tails. Essentially she looked like a girl straight out of an anime. Apparently, her promotion was fairly recent, "I am TTCA Agent and Earth Specialist - My apologies, I keep on forgetting about my poor mother's untimely death from old age - I am Director of the TTCA, Yamada Momo. Though you can all call me Momo if you'd like. Especially you, baby," It was unclear if she was referring to Jimmy or Vince with that statement. But Momo winked. Flirt? Check. Dead parents? Check. The girl was essentially a Bond rip-off, "You all already know Agent 371, Animosita Aurora - Who is inheriting my old position. But these two lovely people are Crowned Monarch Ueta Shizuka, and Chief Scientist Tenshin Chiaki. There are a few more people waiting at the hotel who will be joining us... But it is a pleasure to meet you all. I have to say that I'm a fan of your Western Culture, and if we get the chance I would love to talk to any of you about it."

Scene 1: At the Airport
Violetta was about to apologize for the mistake, and introduce herself, but surviving Aurora's bear-hug required careful planning... She looked at Aurora, amazed how much the older girl had changed. TTCA agent? Something about that sounded scary... But still Violetta was enthused to see her friend again. "I missed to too Aurora." She said softly, hugging her back warmly, and placing her head to the other blond's shoulder so she could be heard. "Ack... I need to breathe please..." Her voice was getting quieter with every word. If the grip didn't lesson in a couple seconds, she would have to use unfair self defense tactics... and go for the sides with a tickle.

Scene 1: At the Airport
Finally noticing two things (That her boss was there and that she was strangling Violetta) Aurora nervously chuckled. As gently as she could she deposited the girl down on the ground, before patting the now taller girl on the shoulder, "You'll have to stay a bit longer so that we can catch up once this is over. I will personally rebook your tickets if you'd like that! Ah! Look at how much you've grown Vi, and - erm - Sorry Momo-senpai."

Aurora nervously rubbed the back of her head. She hadn't said 'hi' to Vince yet. Though, to an outsider, from how they got along in the past that might have been a good thing. Hopefully both of the groups more... trigger happy members... Would be plenty occupied with work. That way they wouldn't be at each other's throats.

Scene 1: At the Airport
Jimmy tipped his hat slightly to Momo, deciding an Earth greeting would be fitting for a specialist in her field. He just grinned as he watched the rest of the proceedings, though he did give the director of the TTCA a wink just in case she had been referring to him.
