Re: OOC

I don't know about the rest of the frog but frog legs are god eating.  And as to worms and bugs, well, about the third day with no food they are tasty.  Mash em up in the bottom of your canteen cup with some water, a little salt and pepper and heat it up.  Not bad.

Re: OOC

We need a description of the upstairs murder scene for Frederick and his companion

An evaluation of the abandoned neighborhood- is there a place where an ambush could be reasonably set up?

Any rumors or hints the party may have picked up from local conversation about the identity of the night stalker

Does the watch captain have any input for the party at this time?

I think that about covers it

Re: OOC

1)
quote:
Before you sits what appears to have been a bed chamber, but it's current condition would almost disqualify it from such a title.  The room itself appears as if a storm had blown through it.  Books were torn and pages scattered about the room.  Boxes and glassware were smashed to pieces.  Even the walls themselves seemed as if they had been scratched upon.  The bed itself was the most telling find.  Amidst the torn sheets and removed bedding, the large, dark stained pool marked the potions masters' final place.

2) The neighborhood itself is not actually abandoned, it is simply an older, much quieter section.  The homes are still lived in and grounds still cared for, they have simply found a happy middle point between man-made and natural, as evidenced by the substantial growth in, around and through most of the homes.  Some even appear to have been built directly into existing terrain.  With this in mind, an ambush would not be the most difficult to facilitate.  Many large trees grow throughout the area with massive trunks and large, heavy canopies.

3) The identity is still a complete mystery with every possible strain of theory you could imagine...crazed royal, blood thirsty thieves, denizens of the dark.  This is why the town is gripped with such fear as they have absolutely no clues to work on, therefore no one feels safe.

4) In general, Captain Rasmir has nothing new to report, unless there was something specific you wanted to know/ask.

Re: OOC

I believe both Stoney and Ondrea had visited the 'morgue' when they first arrived in town.

Re: OOC

It's quite alright sir, that's part of the enjoyment of PbP is you have time.

Technically permission is not really that important.  There isn't a huge clamor to view bodies and no one really thinks about evidence collection or things like that.  Although, Stoney and Ondrea already have permission, so to speak, and I believe you do as well Sharp, more or less.

Me too... it took a right turn of strangeness for my poor 'shipwrecked' character.  He'd rather be trying to figure out why he is here.. so I am trying to pay attention to it, just the locals really have this in hand so I feel like extra baggage.
