OOC: Introduction (Read First)

Hey folks!

Just wanted to give a quick introduction about the game and lay out some of the basics. As indicated by the tags, this is an eastern themed, fantasy/adventure game using the Pathfinder system. I'm drawing a lot of my inspiration from Japanese and Chinese culture/history, as well as other eastern cultures...but this isn't meant to be a historical game. Keep in mind that what races/classes may be available to the player will depend on whether the race/class in question is thematically appropriate for the setting. I will be the final judge on what gets approved and what doesn't, but I'm always open to discussion.

This game has a mature rating for a reason, so please keep that in mind. That being said, I did not give this game an "adult" rating, because even though I expect that we will explore a variety of mature themes in the stories we tell, I also have an expectation that content of an explicit nature will be kept to a minimum. In other words, if you want to have "cyber sexy time" please go do it in private. No judgments, but this isn't the place for it.

As far as posting rates go, I would urge folks to only join this game if they can keep up with posting at least once every 24 hours. I know things come up that can prevent us from getting to a computer to post, so just give folks a heads up if you know you will be away for a while. Weekends may also be a bit slower in pace, myself included.

At this time, I'm looking for 4 to 6 players to be involved. If there's enough interest and good character concepts, I may consider up to 10 players and split them up into two parties of 5. Keep in mind that this won't be "first come, first serve," as I'll be selecting the concepts I like best and are most appropriate for the setting.

Other than that, just be good to each other and always remember to be respectful of other players and the DM. We are here to have fun, so keep the drama in character! :)
