Chun Hyung-Soo:
Definitely makes sense that all the casters are in the politics group, but I'm a little surprised that all the martials wound up in the mystery group and the mixed group is the combat group. It's kinda an interesting study on game demographics.
Actually, each party was made up of more than a single priority. The first group had both political intrigue and mystery & mysticism as their top 2 priorities. All of them had combat ranked last, so I put them together and their story lines will focus less on combat and more on matters of a political and/or esoteric nature.
The second group was a mixture of folks that rated mystery and combat among their first 2 priorities, with all of those PCs rating politics last. I expect that this group will actually see more combat than the other 2. Story lines will involve investigating matters of an esoteric nature, with plenty of combat and random encounters to keep the martial folks happy.
The third group is a mixture of all 3 aspects, and while combat will play a bigger role in their story lines than those of the first group, the encounters won't be as random, and instead will be more story driven and mixed in with both the political aspects and mystery-solving.
Asides from the playstyle priorities, I also tried to base the parties on the character concepts and how each respective backstory could work with those of other characters in the group.
I hope it will all work out well in the end :)
