OOC: General Chatter Thread

Here's your place to be social and talk about whatever you like. The only rule is to be respectful of each other :)

OOC: General Chatter Thread

As a general character creation question, will we need to worry about lodging/food while not adventuring?

Hello everyone!

@GM: I have an alternate character sheet template for Pathfinder, how set are you on having us use yours? (No worries if you want everyone to use the same one, I know it makes them easier to look through)

@Hisashi: no need to worry about such things. I'm not interested in the minor logistical details, since they don't add all that much to the larger story :)

@Oda: I just copied that format from another game I play in to be honest. I'm also happy if folks want to make a sheet on www.myth-weavers.com and just paste a link to their sheet. If you have another sheet template, as long as it isn't something wack, I'll probably be fine with it.

OOC: General Chatter Thread

Hello!

I am looking forward to play in this game.
It would be cool if the three party would be working on something big together at the end. :)

Hi there!

Glad that you all seem as excited as I am.

While the 3 parties are separate at this time, the story lines I have cooked up for each are definitely linked in some fashion or another. I do plan to have some interaction between the parties at some point in the future, but that will be up to you guys just as much, if not more, than me :)

Re: OOC: General Chatter Thread

Hi everyone.  I will likely only be able to access this game during the day from my phone since this site is blocked by my work.  Figures...

But, I did at one point find an android app to send me reminders when there were updates to any messages in this group, so I just need to re-find that one and will be good to go.

So, I have been playing Pathfinder for a while, including GMing a few games of my own, but I am a relative amateur with regards to RPOL.  Just an FYI.

What about Hero Lab output?

Is that ok to link you too as well?

I'm honestly not familiar with it, but sure shoot me a link to it and I'm sure it will be fine :)

In reply to Dungeon Master (msg # 6):

Yeah, having the different groups on different missions that intersect seems cool.

Group 1 looks like it's mostly casters, group 2 is mostly martials, and group 3 is mixed, so it makes sense that the story lines for each would focus on different stuff.

Re: OOC: General Chatter Thread

The DM also split by our interests; politics-mystery-combat, so that will likely be a larger difference in the storylines.

Re: OOC: General Chatter Thread

Definitely makes sense that all the casters are in the politics group, but I'm a little surprised that all the martials wound up in the mystery group and the mixed group is the combat group. It's kinda an interesting study on game demographics.

You'd be surprised how many mysteries you can solve with proper applications of ass kicking.

Re: OOC: General Chatter Thread

In case of politics, based on my experience from rpg paranoia, bootlicking was the most important skill. I think we will be fine.
