Anathema Viese:
I really don't like the idea of popping heroes to go fight wars for us. A hero should be like a Great Person in Civilization; a great general or tinker whose accomplishments will go down in your realm's history, not the main means by which you get things done. Fighting wars is what Anna's myths are for! ... huh, I suspect Anna will be getting more business than she expected.
That's actually exactly the reason the game grabbed 1,000 souls and made Liusna a Pilgrim Hero when you meant to make her an Infinite like your previous ones; the equivalent of an Act I Hero in Act II is a Pilgrim Hero. As Anna correctly commented IC, Taeltresin responds to be the spirit of your intent.
A regiment of 5k mortals = a god-touched battalion = a heroic platoon (maybe we should call them something different from now on, when they aren't named Heroes, given that they're midway between Mortals and Demigods?) = a squad of Pilgrims = a fireteam of Demigods = One Bezzyboi, Annagirl, Theadeacusi, or Ulfurkin.
I actually do prefer 5k souls and 10 spheres a month, so going forward that's what we'll be going with.
I also like the idea of each of you having a special heroic-tier unit that's unique to your domain, since named heroes get unique abilities and I have zero interest in keeping track of 500 unique abilities.
So yeah, Anna, you won't be making gobs of unique Heroes for fighting, you'll be turning mortals into mirror elementals to do your serious fighting :3 you'll probably even get a discount; I'll probably make them cost 250 each but have the stats of a 500 soul Myth, but you won't be able to just pop them - you have individually boop them into being.
We'll call them your Anointed, since they'e a step up from God-Touched.
