Got swamped with some life events, I'm eager to post tomorrow to start mingling with this colorful menagerie of NPC gods, but it gives other PC deities time to arrive at the party I suppose!

OOC CHAT 2: Not Over You

Hello everyone. I am Theadeacus, God of Death. Seems I'll be joining your game as a part of a revival of an older Theogenesis game. Looking forward to, potentially, playing with you all.

Technically again as I was previously a member of this game prior to the reboot.

Hello all, I'm Bezaleel! I'm God of Shadows, Darkness, and Undead. I hope that I can catch* some play with you all eventually! I'm also from a revival of a different older Theogenesis game along side Theadeacus!

OOC CHAT 2: Not Over You

Hey, I'm Anna. I'm the gal who scored... what's the GM going by in this one? The Empress? Should I be refering to the GM with female pronouns? Well anyway, I'm the gal who brought these two darkbutts together for a sequel to our own world tree's adventures. I'm not sure how much I'll be interacting with ya'll and I'm still a little on the fence about The Empress but let's see how this goes! Since you're in an entirely different world tree I'm pretty sure you don't need to worry about Bezzybutt eating you (it's a serious concern) or getting sucked into Anna's Collateral Damage Field. Deekin's probably fine though!

whee rambling us fun

I'd suggest putting a hyphen or a backslash or something between our god's name and their people, but the last time a GM messed around with character names mid-game we lost most of our private lines. Maybe best to leave it...

Yeah my companions are more....disaster prone than myself. They mean well so if any shadow gates or reality breaks appear in your Realms only panic a little. I'll be sure to use a proper entrance tho.

In reply to Anathema Viese (msg # 53):

I'm a girl. The picture in my description is me, from my last photoshoot.

The Fool is my old GM name that I was given when I was 15, and since I liked the Tarot correlation I kept it! I think the Empress is a better Tarot for me nowadays, though.

I like using the people name as a last name and providing your domain using the character tag function. This represents that you are the paragon and mythic progenitor of your people! Domains, divine status, etc all can change over time with gameplay, but who your people are is pretty much constant :)

I dig the short hair! I trust you to give me lots of cute clothes! =3

I'm probably the Hanged Man, though my character Anna is more of a Moon girl.

That's a great shoot!

Tbh, it's a bit hard for me to relate to a tarot card, but I'd have to say the hermit.

I couldn't begin to tell you what Bezaleel would be more like lol.

OOC CHAT 2: Not Over You

^_^ Why thank you! And yea, perks of the jobs is that I get to wear cute tailored stuff. Like I had a shoot that was for a halloween dealie where I was a blind girl who had cut out her eyes, and holy crap I got to wear the CUTEST jeans that fit me PERFECTLY and I later bought three pairs of the exact same jean because mm, my fiancee strongly approved. Since I was blindfolded for the shoot (new experience!) she helped me move around the set. The fake blood they used was the high quality stuff and it kinda ruined the shirt and pants so I didn't keep them.

I recently got a tailored bright red peacoat that really goes with the gold tones in my skin and hair and makes me feel like a classy Gryffindor XD It kinda floats at my waist though cuz I was not blessed with hips but I think it's kinda supposed to do that? I'm jelly of curvy models >.>

Bezaleel feels to me like he'd be a good Chariot, to be honest.

"The Chariot Tarot card shows a brave warrior standing inside a chariot. He wears armour decorated with crescent moons (representing what is coming into being), a tunic with a square (the strength of will) and other alchemical symbols (spiritual transformation). The laurel and star crown signals victory, success and spiritual evolution. Although he appears to be driving the chariot, the charioteer holds no reins – just a wand like the Magician’s – symbolising that he controls through the strength of his will and mind.

The charioteer stands tall – there’s no sitting down for this guy, as he’s all about taking action and moving forward. Above his head is a canopy of six-pointed stars, suggesting his connection to the celestial world and the Divine will. In front of the vehicle sit a black and a white sphinx, representing duality, positive and negative and, at times, opposing forces. Note how the sphinxes are pulling in opposite directions, but the charioteer uses his willpower and sheer resolve to steer the chariot forward in the direction he wants.

Behind the chariot flows a wide river, symbolic of the need to be ‘in flow’ with the rhythm of life while also charging ahead toward your goals and intentions."

Ulfur Karuantii:

Oh, the Devil, easily.

"The Devil card shows Baphomet, or the Horned Goat of Mendes, a creature that is half man, half goat. Baphomet originally represented the balance between good and evil, male and female, and human and animal; however, more recently, this figure has been linked to the occult and has become a scapegoat for all things considered ‘evil’.

The Devil has the wings of a vampire bat, an animal that sucks the lifeblood out of its prey, symbolic of what happens when you give in to your raw desires. He has a hypnotic stare which ‘magnetises’ and entrances those who come near him, bringing them under his power. Above him is an inverted pentagram – a sign of the darker side of magic and occultism. He raises his right hand in the Vulcan Salute – a Jewish blessing, later made famous by the film series, Star Trek. In his left hand, he holds a lit torch.

At the foot of the Devil stand a man and a woman, both naked and chained to the podium on which the Devil sits. They appear to be held here against their will – but look closer, and you will notice that the chains around their necks are loose and could be easily removed. Each has small horns on their head, like the devil’s, a sign that they are becoming increasingly like him the longer they stay here. Both have tails, a further symbol of their animalistic tendencies and raw instincts, and the grapes and the fire on their respective tails signify pleasure and lust."

I would add that the Devil signifies embracing the bestial elements of one's nature, uniting the shadow-self with the ego. In attempting to behave higher than he is, man reduces himself to a flawed imitation of imagined purity, doomed to flounder in guilt and recrimination, imprisoned by chains of his own manufacture that he constantly repairs even as he bemoans his state.

Freedom, strength, power, and effortless self-acceptance and acceptance of others as they are. That's Ulfur.

I love Skeles!!! He's absolutely adorable, and his people are MARSHMELLOWS.

It's not really an ulterior thing - it's just part of my characterization of Ophelia - but also like, I wanted to at least give Skeles a cameo, but didn't feel super comfortable taking over a PC character without permission (I consider your character your intellectual property, given how much writing goes into a Theo character), but also didn't want to pretend he didn't exist.

It's a pretty savage way to go, but y'know, not really any way to kill someone nicely with a scythe - and since her mother wields a scythe and her dad wields kusari-gama she's kinda stuck using the general idea of one.

But he was my favorite flaming metal tree, I was going to hang ornaments on him when Anna reincarnated! D=

But even putting that aside, it seems like a very abrupt way to greet Bezaleel. Eating people's souls is his thing and Skeles was a... actually, Skeles was before Bezzy's time wasn't he? That might make it less personal for him. Still... uncomfortable.

He’s not DEAD. I mean, he’s lost one life. I think he still has two more.

Bezaleel and Skeles competed for Ophelia’s mother’s affections, if you recall, so they were around at the same time for awhile.

Re: OOC CHAT 2: Not Over You

I think I do vaguely recall that now that you mention it. The Tattered Valley was a mess of confusing timelines and tended to get left out of my occasional archive binges. I should probably rectify that.
