Much Ado About, Well, Nearly Everything!

The next morning, Jon is awakened by the door chime. He tries to get out of the bed but finds himself tangled up in bed linen and... "Oh... my!" he thinks. He bolts upright and realises that he's not in his bed.

Kat sits up and kisses him on the neck, and calls out, "Enter!"

The door swooshes open and the three other Lintillas enter, pushing a small trolley with a metal dome on it, "So! did..." "...you two have..." "...a good night?" they ask, splitting the question between them.

One of them lifts the dome from the cart revealing a full English breakfast for five, consisting of bacon, fried egg, sausage, mushrooms, baked beans, toast, and grilled tomatoes, and is accompanied by tea and coffee... "We figured..." "...you'd worked up..." "an appetite!" they say, grinning.

Being the ginger that he is, Jon blushes furiously enough that his freckles all but disappear.

Much Ado About, Well, Nearly Everything!

In reply to Relic GM (msg # 1):

Jon on impulse jumps out of the bed, belatedly remembering he is not wearing anything. His clothes appear to be on the floor, out of reach on the far side of the Lintillas, so he quickly scoots back under the covers.

"I, I mean we, I mean she, us, I mean yes", he stammers. "Yes we did. And yes we did! At least I did!"

Jon recovers himself enough to turn to Kat with a grin. "You knew they were coming, didn't you?" he asks.

Kat grins at Jon. "You're finally catching on!" she laughs. "Yes, my sisters and I share an empathic bond. We don't have telepathy, per se, but we do feel each others' emotional attitude. You'll notice that my sisters tend to complete each others' sentences. This is common with tightly-knit subgroups of us in close proximity. Don't worry, we can't read minds like Betazoids or Vulcans, nor do we form gestalt relationships with other species or indeed with other of our own species, as do Troyians or Deltans."
