Introducing Valous Lokin
As you look around the Umbra, you see a landscape that looks mostly similar to where you were. The buildings aren't visible for the most part, other than some strands of spider webs lightly outlining the edges of the building. The original house built on the grounds by Elliot also shows up faintly, although it looks a bit creepy.

The general landscape is fairly barren, although you can see smatterings of a variety of different animal and elemental spirits. Everything looks brighter and more real than where you were. The edges of objects are sharper. You can see the moon in the sky and a multitude of stars, even though it isn't night.

And although it is very faint, you can see what looks like a thicker than normal strand of web coming from the general location of the hospital building of the shelter. You can see it going off in the general direction your fetish suggested on the map. It is hard to tell, but you think you can see a stream of extremely small spiders shuffling bidirectionally on the web.

Well, I don't hate spiders but these guys hurt some computers and I'm not standing for that. Let's go check out the nasty looking area over there, I doubt the nicer areas have any answers for us.

Introducing Valous Lokin
Nahele says, "Man, what'd you do to piss those spiders off anyway? I know we ain't on zactly the most friendly of terms, but dang."

Nahele looks around at the landscape, then in the direction of the infestation and shifts into sokto form.

Glancing at Valous he says, with a guttural purr, "Let's mess their shit up."

Introducing Valous Lokin
As you travel along the strand of webbing towards your intended destination, you begin to hear a buzzing in the back of your head. You can't quite place what direction the sound is coming from, or how far away it is. The noise is very distracting, and as it grows it makes it somewhat difficult to concentrate.

Valous makes an attempt to try and figure out what the annoying buzzing noise is.

Today: Valous Lokin rolled 3 successes using 4d10 with the World of Darkness 3rd ed, Specialised system with a target of 6, rerolling 10s with rolls of 4,6,7,9.  buzzing.

Re: Introducing Valous Lokin
Extending your senses, and focusing more clearly, you notice the strand of webbing you are following seems to be nearly incandescent. You still can't pinpoint the exact location of the buzzing, but you're pretty certain it has something to do with that strand of webbing.

Yeah. I think it has something to do with that webbing strand over there. I'm trying to decide if it's a good idea to just rip it down. Any thoughts?

Nahele peers in the direction of the webbing, "Maybe. Might just piss 'em off more. Could be good to make 'em mad though."

Suddenly, you hear a skittering noise, and a much larger spider (roughly orange sized) is heading down the web away from the shelter, it has a small orb webbed to its abdomen.

Valous also shifts, into Crinos and gets ready to stomp a spider.

Valous Lokin failed (no successes) using 1d10 with the World of Darkness 3rd ed, Specialised system with a target of 6, rerolling 10s with rolls of 4.  Stomping a spider. Plus 4.

Nahele continues pacing the spider, matching speeds with it. Then he suddenly stops, wiggles his hindquarters, and makes a leaping body tackle. He catches the spider unawares, bringing the it to the ground stunned but mostly unharmed.

Unfortunately he has his front right leg tangled up in the web the spider was traveling along.

20:58, Today: Yoshi, on behalf of Nahele Simmons, failed (no successes) using 1d10 with the World of Darkness 3rd ed, Specialised system with a target of 6, rerolling 10s with rolls of 10(+1).  Init +6 (3Wits 3Alertness). Total: 16
Turn order:
Nahele: 16
Valous: 8
Spider: 4
21:23, Today: Yoshi, on behalf of Nahele Simmons, rolled 3 successes using 9d10 with the World of Darkness 3rd ed, Specialised system with a target of 7, rerolling 10s ((4,9,5,5,7,7,6,6,2)).

Re: Introducing Valous Lokin
The spider is crippled by the combination of the two attacks, and is slightly twitching as it slowly dies.

The small package it had webbed on its back has fallen off.

Valous also tries to figure out more about what the spider dropped.

00:14, Today: Yoshi, on behalf of Valous Lokin, rolled 1 success using 4d10 with the World of Darkness 3rd ed, Specialised system with a target of 6, rerolling 10s ((4,3,6,4)).

Holy crappy rolls. Let me know if a perception check was right for that.

Re: Introducing Valous Lokin
Upon close inspection the object dropped by the spider seems to be a sort of crystallized Gnosis. The spiritual energy evident in the object is much stronger than normal for an object of its size.

However, there is little time to investigate further, as the attack on the spider has alerted the hive of spiders you were moving towards... And now they're moving towards you!

Nahele roars in rage, and strikes out at the spiders with a brutal claw strike causing a multitude of spiders to literally explode and wounding several others.

Spending one rage, Claw attack vs spiders

18:17, Today: Yoshi, on behalf of Nahele Simmons, rolled 11 successes using 9d10 with the World of Darkness 3rd ed, Specialised system with a target of 6, rerolling 10s with rolls of 5,10(+8),10(+9),10(+3),9,6,6,6,10(+9).  Dex+brawl claw
Holy successes Batman

18:20, Today: Yoshi, on behalf of Nahele Simmons, rolled 4 successes using 6d10 with the World of Darkness 3rd ed, Specialised system with a target of 6, rerolling 10s ((8,7,2,3,7,8)). Damage

I'm going to rule that for this swarm combat (except in cases of special weapons shotgun, SMG, large melee weapon, anything that can easily damage a lot) you can only do one damage per 3 successes on the attack roll, no matter what your damage roll
