All that to say: a very Merry Christmas to all of you. I am very blessed this year - wife's biopsy negative, and lots of presents beneath the tree.

Had a Clark Griswald moment last night - broke out the old (c. 1970s) Christmas videos from when I was a kid. Silly stuff, but got me in the mood.

Christmas really is a wonderful time. Glad to hear about your wife. My fiance had a health scare too. Her nephew is a heroin addict, he's recovering nicely, but in helping his mother clean she got stuck with a dirty needle. Months of blood tests, but she's no worse for the ware now.

Glad to hear that the holiday cheer was in full affect. My house was happy and quiet, for the most part, once we were done w/ church activities and a bunch of Christmas parties.

My better half is doing well. I'm stressing this last week of work, though tomorrow's my last day of the year, come hell or high water.

So what to do, what to do for Christmas presents?

Think I'll focus on that tonight, since we celebrate the 12 days of Christmas in my house.

I've given a good bit of consideration to your Christmas gifts. I think I'll introduce them once this combat's over. Something that will make all of you happy.

Tomorrow's epiphany, the last 'official' day of the Christmas season. For the most part, I had a great season. My wife and I are usually homebodies, but this year we've been pretty active in our church, and had more to do than we were used to. Made the season feel like Christmas every day from Dec 1 through New years.

Been celebrating Christmas since just after Thanksgiving > just took down two of the trees yesterday; got two more to go. ;)

LOL about the decorations. Our's will stay up til next weekend - we may take bits down in the evenings, but my wife's adamant about keeping all of them up until tomorrow at least. I know it drives our neighbors batty...

the stacks are not very full. Most of the shelves are bare, what remains is pretty pedestrian and in bad shape (dusty, moldy, pages torn, etc.).
