I'm relatively ok, sore shoulder, very sore. Makes resting difficult. Improving everyday. Just me, thankfully.

Wasn't watching the road, messing with my radio, looked up was almost in a ditch, over corrected to the opposite side and we'd just had a storm, so that was that.

Well - if it makes you feel any better:

6 months 3 days after I got my license, I was on my way to pick up my girlfriend for a date on a Friday night.  She lived on a curvy road, was kinda curvy herself.  A light rain was falling, I was speeding, the radio was playing, went to turn the channel (using the manual dial) and fishtailed one way, then the other, then back the other - panicked, jammed my foot down on what I thought was the break, sped up instead, grazed a tree, a telephone pole, then went straight through the front of the house right in front of me.  It was like one of those weird Farmer's Insurance commercials.

Happily they weren't home...

Had it been 4 days earlier, I would've lost my license.

We've just returned from a weekend visiting friends in NH, which was a wee bit tense, because the last time we visited my husband smashed the front of the car when the pickup in front of us stepped on the brakes unexpectedly in stop and go traffic on the Mass Turnpike. THIS time we timed the trip to avoid as much Boston traffic as possible both ways and managed to get home without any excitement.

My son and I had an "end of summer" "guys weekend" > drove to Manassas, VA to see Black Sabbath > freaking melted our faces!! Incredible show!

We had safe travels, thank the good Lord, because people on the road are crazy!
