Dang you need two or three squires just to get dressed

Well... You could do it with one, but it ain't happening quickly!

Always one of those fun things when out in the wilderness - taking off/putting on armor.

Oh, a pack of dire wolves are attacking?  Can you tell them to weight while I get dressed?

Breast plate makes for a quicker transition at half the weight, and you only lose one point of AC.

I thought waiting on a woman to get ready to go out took a long time.

No telling how long it would take to polish the armor up.     LOL

I was actually clearing the way for full plate armor (cost about 4,000gp) as opposed to plate mail (cost 400gp). Maybe it wasn't clear, but it seemed to be working in my favour so I wasn't going to argue the point.

Um...no on the 4k gp armor.  Excellent effort though!  LOL!

Okay so that's a 'no' on full plate armour, and a wise choice if I must say so myself.

I take it your views on field plate will be held in a far more agreeable light.

At a measly 2,000gp I know it's hardly worth mentioning or wasting your time on.  I'll just write it on my character sheet, and you won't have to worry any more about it.  It's obviously well within the 'reasonable supplies' criteria previously stated.

Breast Plate or Plate Mail are fine.  Beyond that, you'll be in debt to a shady loan shark who charges usurious rates and has the means to enforce payment.  :)

It's the unspecified '....has the means to enforce payment,' I object to.  Otherwise it was almost a goer.

In this new light the choice of the stock standard plate mail seems fine.

Yes negotiation can be fun, though the preferred outcome on this occasion seems to have fallen to the wrong side, wouldn't you say?  Perhaps that is something you can work on for the future, so we can all call you our favorite DM, at least in this game. :o)

For future reference, I'll be keeping careful lists of everything appraised and the values determined through the appraisal process. ;|
