Sorry Bruno - misunderstood your intent.  After messing up your 2nd post, I think I've fixed it (albeit without highlights), then offered explanation in my own post below.

My intent was to indicate interest in dealing with the trouble that seemed to be occurring in the kitchen. Then 15 troubles burst into the room.

Given that they're still outnumbered by the goblins it would not make sense to head into the kitchen in round 2.

Unless, I'm missing something?

Without metagaming, can't really say.  You will note any issues in the kitchen have been drowned out by the noise in the taproom.

Gotcha. Well, the intent was not to move out of the room with all the goblins in it.

I forgot to mention big ups and thanks to Bruno for the bless spell.

Personally I think that is one of the most un-sexy spells to ever have to cast, because nothing visual happens.

It's not until battle commences that everybody has the +1 to hit edge, which may swing the battle, and it is often overlooked that the magic was in play once the battle finishes and we are picking through the loot.  (Tips his great helm to Moradin's best)

Old plan:  stab goblins.
    Result:  2 chances to hit.... 2 misses.  Like playing wiffleball... but worse.

New plan:  run to cower behind the death-machine that is the enraged dwarf.

Enraged dwarven death-machine.  I like that tag.  Now to bring down the big guy, shatter their moral, and plunder their goodies.

Rather than cower, I believe my esteemed colleague meant to say getting an early start to phase 2 of the plan, plundering goodies. There is no telling when we might have to hightail it out of here leaving behind hard won reward, and that would be a travesty.

Yes, that is what I meant.  I will be.... BEHIND the enraged dwarven death machine looting the bodies to ensure that the machine has fuel.  Runs on ale and roasted boar.
