Hiya! Sorry I've been so quiet, but the last few weeks have continued to be busy. The good news is that I'm taking off between the 24th and the 7th, so I'll be able to be more consistent.

My down time begins now, so I, too, will be more accessible. We'll see if I can pick up the post rate by a tick.

Not unhappy w/ the posting rate, regardless. You guys have all been pretty consistent and the game is actually getting somewhere now that you're in the heart of the keep.

I'll have something up later this evening - Christmas decorations now (FINALLY!) getting some attention, much to my wife's chagrin. Left up to her, we'd have had the decorations up in September... :p

Uthecar brought up a good point re: Initiative. In short, all characters roll their own initiative while 'monsters' only roll once.

New Rule up: The idea roll. Please read thoroughly and shoot me any questions. This will become helpful as the game goes on, especially once we push north.

As an aside, the next stage of the journey includes a lot of wilderness, which seems to flow better and move a bit quicker than dungeon crawls. FWIW.

Turned 50 Monday this week. Big 5-0.

I was wondering what my reaction would be...truth told, I feel pretty much the same as 49. Mine has been a good life, I think. Fun, interesting, well-traveled...no complaints, just hoping the next 50 are just as good! :)

Been 50 for a few years now...ain't too bad.

Well worth the effort if I say so myself, and we've got a spare room with a queen bed if you want a base to work from.

That's really generous of you. My wife and I don't travel very much - I was a wanderer as a kid, and became a world traveler in the Navy, but we don't get out too often at this point.

I think I'm going to start saving a couple dollars per month, see if I can't surprise her. When I get close, I'll holler at you. Thanks for the kind offer.

As for closer to home - Wilmington is 6 hours away. Hedge, let's plan that gaming weekend, with some touristy stuff for good measure. Been a few years since I was up that way. Maybe this summer, if your not otherwise engaged?

Hoy! Hoy! I'm more or less after a grueling few weeks of work. Whew! I ought to be able to be on more consistently for a while.

Just found out I have a staph infection. Good times. Two antibiotics - take one four times a day, the other two. Got it from my cat's dirty claw. Not a happy camper.
