Hey, nice to be back in the saddle. Had a group healthcare proposal that took me far to long to complete for some reason. Got so stressed, I stopped sleeping - a full week of 1-2 hours of sleep per night.

Happily, I finishted the paperwork yesterday. Hopefully I can start sleeping again!

But, for the time being, at least through the summer, I should be more available than I've been the past few weeks.

Something tells me that having to deal with such a proposal at THIS time bears a certain weight that it would not have 6 months ago.

Group plans always take a lot more time than you think.  Lots of t's that need to be crossed and i's dotted.  Glad you got through it and hopefully all the claims that come through are easy on you (if you need to deal with them) and you get an easy ride for the trail income it provides.

Thanks for the well wishes, gang. Fortunately, once the sale is made, I only have to do minor upkeep. I don't deal with claims at all except to offer a phone number if need be.

I do care about my clients, so I stay in touch with them...but the adminstration of the policy is all on the Plan.

I believe we are in the corridor between cavern 53 and 55 and we have just discovered the secret door and passage to cavern 54.

Without 'knowing' the map as we see it, I would think we would head to cavern 54.  Does anyone else agree?

Use 53 as your point of reference - that's the bat cave.

Then look to the left side of the map and you'll see multiple points of interest, including warrens, passages and secret/concealed portals.

A question:

Would it be easier if I said north/south & east/west instead of left/right, up/down?

Well if North and South equate to up and down and east and west equate to right and left it doesn't make a lot of difference really does it?  I'm okay with either.

Yeah, I'm so bad with maps generally that it really won't make much of a difference for me.

Okay - I prefer up/down, etc in dungeons, but there will be a big change once we get out of the wilderness, and that's when I'll go north/south, etc.

Gonna let everyone take their turn before my next post - trying to keep things as linear as possible.

Also some things to keep in mind as we wade into this one:

1. Myrrick's Halberd has a Light spell cast on it
(Though, as a magic item does it already give off light? If so, I may have wanted to cast light on something else or not at all...)

2. Everyone has a +1 on their Attacks from Bless

Only swords and daggers of a magical nature shed light unless the weapon is 'special'

Had to look that up, and typical with most of the AD&D rules, it wasn't completely clear.

So Myrrick's in good shape with the light coin attached to the halberd.
