Uthecar shrugs he does not care.  None of the items found are overly useful as far as the brash dwarf is concerned.  He is chaffing at the bit to get moving, going a little stir crazy in this room.  If the brother had not spoken caution to him he probably would have done more investigating alone whilst they were waiting on Zan.

Weasel has the potion of healing.  (If that was the one handed to him by Uthecar)  He's had the most injuries so is probably the best to continue holding.

"We already know that the axe is magical and able to harm a monsters that non-magical weapons had no effect on. I'll use a spell to find out what further information is revealed"

Zan holds on to the book and the wand if no one objects telling the others, "I can put both of these to good use"

Zan noted that through their time in this location it remained quiet.  "I would suggest that we could use this area as a fall back point seeing as nothing has come to bother us here"

”It’s a sweet sound Myrrick.  All that it lacks at the moment is the ‘thwack’, of it hitting flesh and the ‘squalsh’ as it is then removed to strike again.”. The dwarf grins back at Myrrick at least entertained for now with the arms practice.

Kullonar rises early and stretches, then says his prayers and asks St. Cuthbert for his daily allotment of spells. (Bless, Command, Light, Protection From Evil)
He then gears up, grabs a quick bite, and is ready to move on.
He walks over to the secret door and listens carefully. "Weasel, do you think you could take a look at this door to make sure it bears no traps of ill will for us?"

If no one else wants the Ring of Feather Falling, Kullonar will wear it.

"The magical weapon is imbued with elemental fire. You should be able to call forth a flame to spring forth.  Just be careful to be aware of your surrounding, you might end up setting more on fire than you intended. Now use far as activating it,  It may take a bit of figuring out, I did sense that some sort of evocation magic was needed to help trigger the weapon for the first time.  It's hard to say what condition the creator of the weapon may have chosen.  It could be triggered by passing the blade through a flame, pouring water on the blade, plunging it into a bank of snow.  Whoever the holder of the weapon at that time should be granted with the activation knowledge."

"It's a weapon.  Perhaps striking an enemy and the taste of their blood is the trigger."  Uthecar offers.  He is ready to move out.

"Unless anyone objects."

Uthecar looks up to the gray elf.  "He may know healing, but when an army has only one strong leader his death can cause chaos.  Two strong leaders protect moral.  In the same way having only one person to heal could cause us a weakness we cannot imagine at this point mage."

Myrrick nodded, "Useful against the undead then, very useful. I will be mindful of my surroundings while using the magical blade. I would hate to set Weasel on fire." he laughed. "This room seems an excellent fall back."

The two days of rest have been beneficial. Weasel seems to have returned to his old self and has been into everything, though has found nothing particularly interesting beyond what's already been discovered.

Myrrick has continued practicing, and is delighted by Zan's detections vis a vis the halberd. He gives the weapon a closer than once over

Uthecar chaffs at the delay, though he does take interest in Weasel's discovery that there are no traps that he could find on the secret door in the north wall of the second room (of course, it's not secret on this time - another fine description from your DM that wasn't wholly accurate).

Bruno and Kullonar spend time finish their quiet contemplations, calling on the emissaries of their respective deities to lend them aid. You both have a full contingent of spells.

Zan delves deeply into his new book, and determines that, yes, Ginger can carry the wand, which offers interesting implications for combat. You also have a full contingent of spells.

So your choices are: exit the door on the upper wall of the 2nd room, or the door on the left wall of the lower room (the one you initially entered.

What's your choice, and after the layoff, PM me an questions pertinent to your character.

Cheers!

He pulls on his gear and is ready to march.

Weasel opens the door, allowing Uthecar and Myrrick take their place at the head of the party before slinking to the back once again, near Zan.

To the right is a small, empty alcove.

To the left is a corridor that disappears into darkness after some 20' or so (the edge of the lantern's range). Another corridor runs straight upward until lost to darkness as well (or north, if that helps you visualize better).

Let us carry on to destiny...

Uthecar stomps on up to the corridor that disappears to the left.  He takes a deep breath like he might smell something in the air before turning into it and continuing.  OOC:  Hey Seer do you mind posting the room we’re closest to so I can get my bearings?  I’m guessing where we are on the map.

Uthecar determines (based upon race and his brief study of the map) that the rooms you were in are numbered 8 & 9.
------------------------------------

As Uthecar stomps his way along the leftward passage, he comes to an odd intersection some thirty feet later that seems  pretty familiar. One way leads diagonally down and to the left (the passage you came up two days earlier), another passage turns on itself from the one the party's traversing (you have not gone this way), separated by a 2' wide, stone wall. And, of course there is the passage from the secret door leading upward.

Hint: what happens when you continually turn in one direction? If you follow the passage south, you'll pass the storeroom (giant rats) and the secret door that initially allowed entrance into the wizard's rooms.

Lots of choices, lads.
