"Shawn, I need you to let me in" Griffix said softly, the moonlight illuminating his face, a full moon, Shawn could see. It was the middle of the night, and the shadows of the sash bars separating the panes of glass in the window were casting square outlines on the rug. Shawn found himself standing several feet away from the window. He noticed that Griffix was wolfish in form. He was hairy, his back was hunched, his face had formed a snout and he held one man-like paw against the window, as if expecting Shawn to already open it.

It took Shawn a moment or two to fully awaken, but seeing the wolfish Griffix outside his window quickly jostled him to alertness. Quietly, he padded over to the window and opened it up.

Griffix crept inside, silent as a shadow. He turned to look at Shawn, his canine teeth yellow at the base, breath hot.

"Shawn." Griffix said, giving Shawn a predatory smile that exposed more teeth. The image reminded Shawn of the wolf in Little Red Riding Hood.

"Have you been back to the Fortune Teller's tent at all? Or the Master Maker's tent?" The question was delivered with a calm restraint. But under the surface, Shawn could sense that there was a lingering suspicion in Griffix's voice.

"Maybe...recently?" Griffix asked, taking a step forward.  He was now hulking over Shawn, clearly taking up space.
