"Wake up!" Bobby yelled at Shawn, shaking him as Shawn shot up into the bed, coming close to falling off the bed.

"Why is he yelling 'Why?'" Ralph asked, sounding confused.

Shawn looked back and forth, unsure for a moment whether he was still dreaming. "Bobby! Are you okay?"

"Huh?" Bobby asked, surprised. "Yeah." He responded, blinking, puzzled look on his face as if he wasn't quite sure why Shawn would ask such a question.

"The question is, are you OK?" Bobby asked. "I'm really confused. You kept saying my and Ralph's name. Like you were singing a song. Only in a really high-pitched voice. Ralph and I thought you were joking, just pretending to be asleep. And when I tried to wake you up, you kept saying 'why!', 'why!'."

"Did you have a dream about the Circus?" Ralph asked Shawn, who's head was still groggy, the dream world fading away, and with it, the finer details that made the dream seem all the more real.

"What Circus?" Bobby asked, more confused then ever. "Oh brother! You really know how to tell a good one, Ralphy. I swear, the more I spend time with you, the more I appreciate just how silly you can be. Did you here that Shawn? Circus? Ralph thinks there's a Circus here!"

Shawn calmed down as he realized it had only been a dream. He gave Ralph an emphatic look when he mentioned the Circus, then switched on his cheerful face. "Oh no, sorry if I made you worry. I was just having a bad dream."

"Oh." Bobby said, seemingly confused. "Well, I hope you're OK." He said, patting Shawn on the back. He scratched his head, like he was going to say something. But instead he turned over, as if getting ready to go back to bed.

"I used to get a glass of water in the middle of the night before. That's what my Mom used to say." Ralph suggested. "She says that it..it..it..it..it..it..it helps." he stammered. He fluffed his blankets, getting ready to get back to bed himself, nudging up against the rubba-sucky blanket.

"I think I'll be all right. Let's just go back to sleep." Shawn fidgeted with his blanket and pillow, though what he was really doing was waiting for his heartbeat to go back to normal so he could go back to sleep. Bobby was safe, Ralph was safe, it was just a nightmare. He still had time before Bobby's memories came back - he'd come up with something before then, he'd have to.

It took Shawn a while but then he finally managed to go to sleep.
