Ack! Dreya doesn't have Daddy issues! Ah ha ha ha! That made me crack up. Actually, with the character past I have created for her, she doesn't even remember a dad. Or parents at all.

You know, I was trying to google some pictures of hide armor for a good example of what Dreya's armor kind of looks like, and all that came up is scantily crafted armor people created to mod for Skyrim.

But I was thinking, she should totally have this missmatched armor...like it was pieced and hodge-podged together as she went along. Even her boots don't match.

Lex glad you are old also, means you need your beauty sleep so maybe I can copy some of your spells from your spellbook later when i finally get some.

I'm going to be on the road Wednesday through Friday.  I probably won't be able to post an update until this weekend.

I saw in here that Lex is a player, haha. So I changed Len's post. Then I see Lex was on, too, and edged me out on the timing. Sorry, Lex, for having Len race at you with his battle axe. :)

Not a problem, it'll be interesting to see how the GM handles my indiscriminant casting of sleep!

At the start we were told that we knew each other, and had done some previous adventuring together.  Does that include Lex, or is he a complete unknown to the rest of us at this time?

Everyone knows everyone.  You have all adventured together in the past.

I updated the house rules thread to clarify how I handle aiming a spell's area of effect.

Is the CK tracking each characters XP they gain too? Or how does progressing to a new level work in a play-by-post game?

I'll be tracking XP and will post an XP update once the party reaches a major break in the action (e.g., going back to town).

Ok I leveled, what do I roll for hp and what new stuff do I get. Believe I get 2 more Cantrips and my spells now anything else.

Khaaven rolls a d6 plus con bonus for additional hit points.  He picks up 1st level wizard spells (3 of them).  Please note his starting spells are different than the wizard starting spells from the chargen thread.  The chargen spell allotment assumed a second level wizard at the start of play.  You can pick any 3 1st level wizard spells you want from the PHB.

So d6 Plus con and my 3 spells and 2 cantrips. How do we work Read Magic, is it a normal spell slot or free etc since you need it to learn other spells.

Correct on the hit points and spells.  Read magic is not technically necessary to learn other spells since you automatically learn new spells when you level.  However, it is necessary if you want to cast spells from scrolls or learn spells from scrolls or spell books.  It's a good idea to take read magic as one of your spells (it is not "free").

Rolled my HP did real well maxed it out so not a total wimp anymore.

Spells taken, Prestidigitation, mage Hand, Shocking Grasp, read magic and summon familiar.
