On Jimmy's return trip to the library he is welcomed back by a smiling librarian who cheerfully helps him to locate the anthropology and art history sections.
An hour spent feverishly flipping through art history books soon identifies the painting from the second photo as a work of Italian Futurism. A few hours more, and Jimmy has it identified as a 1913 piece entitled
Whirlpool by Venetian painter Glaucco Aioli
(Library use). Unfortunately, there is little other information to be found, either about Aioli or the painting.
The time spent in the anthropology section is less helpful. Try as he might, Jimmy can't find any leads on the significance of the tattoo or the meaning of it's symbol. After several hours he has exhausted his options. Jimmy glances down at his watch. The day has really slipped away. It's already 4:06 in the afternoon.
