I've posted a small intro for the first Reel of our movie story!

Let me outline what we have for our team so far! After this discussion, we can start the game.

Adamant and Claire already know each other. They hang out at Rocket Tom's often. Are they close friends? Or just acquaintances? Any adventures together? Please, write a few sentences about this.

The first episode as I plan it is the meeting of Adamant, Claire and Dmitrii at Rocket Tom's, where they all see the call for the survey mission and get to know each other.

Scrungus is a different case - he is already in Helios Mining's employment (in a manner of speaking...), so he isn't present in this first short episode.


Is this alright with everybody?

I promise, I won't railroad you throughout the game, but I want to keep this intro episode focused and relatively brief.

Already being on friendly terms makes things easier, so I say we are definitely acquainted! How much of a history should we have together? Cannonball Claire is a second-generation pilot who makes deliveries between planets. Adam might have heard of her as a reliable pilot, or if he's the military type, maybe he came along on a delivery to guard some sensitive materials? I'm open to just about anything.

It helps me out too. Adam's the son of wealthy aristocratic types and a former U.S. Martian Cavalry Officer who...well, he didn't go fully native and live permanently among the Chanari but he's more or less become a deserter and a mercenary going wherever the job takes him after doing so for a while. Depending on how long they've both been operating, he could very well have met her while guarding a sensitive delivery though and stayed friends after he left the military, or else been brought on for a similar situation while working as a troubleshooter.

Claire grew up on the 'road' making runs back when her dad was the one driving the ship, so she's been operating for a while. It sounds to me like we may not be besties, but certainly recognize each other and maybe owe a favor or two. I should mention I put points for Cannonball Claire to have a ship to start, so at the very least you have someone to approach for a ride.

That last part goes for you too, Dmitrii! :P
