Chapter 1: Stolen Lands - Return to Oleg's
It's not long before you're back traversing the plains back to Oleg's Trading Post, it being only a few hours travel from the Moon Radish patch. The "redeemed" bandits follow along with the cart, Kressle eventually approaching Carslan as they get closer.

"Hey, you got a plan for Oleg? Because I'd bet good money that he's going to flip his shit when we turn up. I near crippled the man after all, then there was the threats against his wife, lost his wedding ring now that I think about it. Shit, if I was in his position I'm pretty sure I'd try to kill me."

Carslan chews quietly on a flower, before swallowing it
"It's a fair question, all we can do really is talk to him about it. One of us'll go in first to explain the situation, any volunteers or shall I do it?"
He looks to the other three, ready to handle it himself if no one else is comfortable doing so.

Valentina cast a sidelong look at Carslan.

"Just pay them. It worked well with bandits and fay," - she doesn't bother to only single out her message for the priest.

"I'll speak with him." Gawain chimes, "Best to keep them well put of sight until then though, lest he think that we've joined them at first. I'll come back and find you to give the all clear, or indeed whatever other reaction Oleg might give."

Chapter 1: Stolen Lands - Return to Oleg's
The bandits are all understandably apprehensive about this whole thing, as Gawain volunteers to speak to Oleg a few of them breathe a sigh of relief. Gawain rides off towards the Trading Post and soon notices something unusual. There are people at the trading post, two men flanking the front gate with hefty looking poleaxes and chainmail armour, as well as a man standing on each of the corner towers.

As he approaches, the two men step in front of the gate, crossing their weapons in a clear sign that he was not to pass them. They wait for him to get close enough before one speaks up. "State your business traveller."

Chapter 1: Stolen Lands - Return to Oleg's
"I am Gawain of Rostland, I'm here to see Oleg. Me and my companions were here a few days passed to help Oleg and Svetlana with Kressle and her brigands. I have some important things to discuss with Oleg." Gawain keeps his sword sheathed and his shield across his back, keeping his approach as nonthreatening as possible.

"Oh right. I was told there'd be more of you though. What's happened to the rest of them?" They move their weapons aside regardless, allowing Gawain unimpeded access to the trading post. Inside there's a couple more of the armed men sat at the tables near the bunkhouse.

"I rode ahead to report to Oleg, my companions are not far behind. I see Oleg has upped security here, you guys passing through and helping out? Or did Oleg petition your services?"

"The latter." The voice comes from a tall, broad, Brevic man dressed in a suit of heavy well crafted armour with trim and insignia that denotes him as one of the group that's now guarding the post. He has strong, masculine features but something about his countenance gives the impression of a somewhat gloomy, morose individual.

"It seems that Mr Leveton put in a petition for assistance defending this post from bandits some time ago. My company was contacted a few weeks ago to serve as guards here. We arrived yesterday morning." He holds out a hand, "Call me Kesten."
