 I am assuming these fighters  were also made of escort and such, so they should have no problem staying with the ship, unless  The GM has restrictions on them, that I am unaware of right now...

 I will have to go with Shadow's thoughts, since flight is his 'field'

Jennifer is a detective.  She knows a little about fighters, but nowhere even close to what Kray knows.  This works out because when it comes down to being a cop, Jenni is the expert.  She made herself acting Captain when she was the only one awake in order to gain access to the bridge systems to try to figure out what was going on.

 I have a space game as well, been around for 6 years now.. our  fighters  can travel with the  ships, for escorts..fighter screens ect...

 BUT..this is  this GM's  game, so I need to know as well.

 as Far as Hen goes?.. She's   Shadow's captain until some one else  who ranks  higher says she's not...his skills are flying, survial and HAnd to hand, among others..so? he can creep around  when needed..but flying is his love.

The Polo has modified hellcat fighters, meant for recon and defense. Offensive capabilities are great too, but who knows if we will need them. Are we alone in the universe?
That said, they are capable of reaching the same speeds as the Polo when she is cruising. When Polo is near lightspeed the hellcats will never keep up. At the moment she is stationary untill the engines are restart and a course is set to...?

The player characters will probably share a bond forged during the emergency where we saved the ship.  I don't see Jen's command time lasting much longer.

 I will aslo you folks to come over and play in my game as well...GM was there for a short while. My games  aren't for everyone, a bit darker..and  semi-free form with my own system...

 so take a look, can't hurt sharping   sci-fi skills by being in both games!

  you can even bring  the character you play here over..but  i'm thinking we might get a few of my people here as well

 yeah, shadow will run  and do quickness drills, he'll keep up with his aussie ball training..but more  for his on  the ground things he might need to do.

Hopefully there's a Barracks Gym for Military use.

Gym added. Its a multipurpose one, civvies and military alike. Barracks has its own gym too, and running can always be done at the hydroponics decks... Running through the artificial fields might relax the mind. Once its opened that is...

I am assuming there is  room to run in the Hanger Dec, as well?
